“It would be nice to think Harris would get to spend a couple of years in a cage where she belongs, but that probably won't happen. It would be equally nice if the witnesses and film maker joined her.”
“Well, both of your claims are, of course, wrong. Same sex marriage is legal in 19 states SO FAR and there are many people in the other 31 states who support equality and civil rights for ALL people. Most people with a couple of viable brain cells know that discrimination is wrong.”
“The will of the people? That's exactly what these courts are doing...enforcing the will of the people. BTW, where is same-sex marriage even mentioned in the Constitution? Live by hate if you wish, but don't even try to pretend you know the first thing about the Constitution.”
“Joe's right; the court did what the court is supposed to do. And aside from that, you're clearly misinformed about the people. We are absolutely ecstatic for our LBGT brothers and sisters. It's about time the courts recognized these illegal bans for what they are...discrimination.”

“I know facts..33 states ban same sex, and 17 allow it, half of those by judicial fiat.”
“Oh boy. I really like him as an entertainer, but he's got a notoriously bad temper so it's not surprising that he was rude to the cop. Kudos to the cop for not treating him any differently just because he's a celebrity. Too bad he didn't have ID; he'd have gotten a ticket and that would've been the end of it.”
“Sure it is. It's everybody's business if this is being timed to do damage to a political candidate running for President. See if you can follow along...an affair is a private act between consenting adults; political sabotage is not private, it's public and SHOULD concern everyone.”
“The federal minimum wage for tipped workers is $2.13 and yes, it's higher in not just several states, but many states, though I didn't realize that in Washington, all employees are covered by the state minimum ($9.32, the highest minimum wage in the country). So you're right and I stand corrected.
That said, if people don't mind tipping at $9.32, why would they object to tipping at $15? And if they do, there's a solution; don't tip. A better solution of course, would be to adjust the minimum for tipped employees just as is done in other states.
Using tips as an excuse to argue against raising the minimum for all employees is just that, an excuse.”
“So according to your logic, younger/newer workers shouldn't earn a livable wage just because older workers are ONLY making $20/hour? That's some strange logic. Besides, all salaries will likely undergo adjustment over time.”
“All people who work hard deserve to make a livable wage, regardless of their educational level. And btw, I don't know of any profession that requires a college degree that only pays $15/hour. Why would anyone bother to go to college? I only have an AA and make twice that.”
“It won't happen. Washington has the highest minimum wage in the country (9.32) and they're still a very prosperous state. The Republicans have an obsessive need to view everything negatively. This guy is just one of many. Pay him and the rest of them no mind; they're always wrong.”
