“Just got back from checking it out... don't buy the hype, there were only 5-7,000 people there, that was the best Glenn Beck and Faux News could do despite all their trying. A sad lot, actually, utterly unable to articulate their viewpoints and frequently unable to even spell the words on their signs correctly...”

They arearmedandready, is what they are, and those who dismiss them will be very sorry. Be prepared to protect your children against these seditious anarchists. We can't be cowards and just put them down, because, you see, they are empowered by the rich masters who are about to be allowed to pay trillions of dollars in campaign contributions. As soon as the Supreme Court overturns campaign finance laws next month, the corporatocracy will target your liberals in congress with HUGE amounts and there will be nothing -NOTHING- you can do about it. Soon Obama's power will be completely gone, because of therightwingactivists Supreme Court. This is the time to think carefully about the health of the supreme court justices.”

* Termination of all claims or states of belligerency and respect for and acknowledgement of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of every State in the area and their right to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force;"
There has NOT been a termination of all claims or peace between Israel and the other states involved in the 1948 war (namely, Syria and Lebanon), so therefore Israel is NOT required to withdrawal from any territories. Even if there was, Israel is required to withdraw from "territories" not "all the territories", so the fact it's already withdrawn from Gaza seems to indicate Israel has fulfilled its obligation to that part of the Resolution.
Peace first, then withdrawal. That's how it was in Germany and Japan, and that's how it should be here.”

“"An important message from Free Speech Coalition Chairman Roger Hedgecock.
ABC News has reportedly agreed to broadcast its news June 24 from the Blue Room of the White House, virtually turning over news programming that night to the Obama Government.
ABC also plans a prime time special, "Prescription for America", again broadcast from the White House. This "Special" will feature Obama Government officials promoting the President's proposal for Government health care. No opposing views are allowed on the program.
As Chair of the Free Speech Coalition donttouchmydial.comm), I call on ABC to include all points of view on this most important issue. As more Americans become familiar with the complexities of the health care system and the various proposals to "reform" it, it is the responsibility of the "News" to let all voices be heard.
ABC News is in danger of becoming a propaganda organ for the Obama Government.
Our Coalition was formed to fight restrictions on Free Speech in the Media, particularly the "Fairness Doctrine" and its evil offshoots "localism" and "media ownership diversity" --policies now being considered for the purpose of censoring conservative talk radio by the Obama FCC.
For ABC News to present only the Obama Government side of this important issue would betray the public interest in a free press. "
They've obviously never heard of Fox News. Or, I suspect, the concept of irony...

“Don't know about the "veteran radio source," there's nothing in this article that a casual follower of the talk radio industry or a reader of Talkers Magazine wouldn't already know.
That said, the same follower and/or reader would also know that the radio industry itself knows that its days are numbered, Clear Channel's days are numbered, because the entire terrestrial broadcast paradigm is in the process of tanking. It simply can not compete with the Internet as a means of delivery, as more localities roll out city-wide wifi, cell phones get apps to receive 'net radio, and internet radio devices begin to hit the market (some are out there already). I can listen to 'net radio in my car now via a laptop and broadband modem - admittedly a bit of a kludge solution but it's only going to get exponentially easier to do so. Terrestrial broadcast is finished, and with it the stranglehold that the "stick" owners have over what we listen to.
The answer is to support 'net radio!!! Feel free to start here: www.pbradio.net”

“If it were only that simple... It takes a hell of a lot more than a "few servers"... LiveNation, who'd you'd expect would have the technical infrastructure to actually support the sales of the tickets for shows they have, is constantly and perpetually plagued by server crashes on on-sale dates. If they can't get it together enough to keep their servers running i doubt that any band could or would take on the task.
and don't forget that there's now integration between the ticket sellers and the venue owners, in many cases pretty much the same entity. PJ tried to sell its own tickets and found that it was getting shut out of the bigger venues that were run by the companies they were no longer using to sell tickets.
it starts with the venues, really.”
