6 Reasons Why Meditation Appears So Difficult

Commented Mar 21, 2012 at 17:10:35 in Healthy Living

“This is a great post. I do find meditation to be so hard and wrote a blog post about this about a year ago Mindfulness or Mind-Fullness (http://www.skinnyscoop.com/blog/2010/09/07/mindfulness-vs-mind-fullness-a-meditation-meltdown/). You make one point that really hit home - it's impossible to fail at mediation. THAT is nice!!!”

“Great post. My mom saved all of her kids books and my kids LOVE them, especially the quirky ones. Here is a great February Book list from 60 Second Parent - kids books about love. My favorite is "You Are My I Love You" - great poetry.

Are You the 'Favorite Parent' in Your Household?

Are You the 'Favorite Parent' in Your Household?

“My parents had solidarity when it came to discipline. Neither of them "needed" to be a favorite. I think we are the same way now. But of course that doesn't mean the kids don't have their faves (seems to change back and forth). I can see how this will get harder as they get older. Someone just posted a question about this on our site theSkinnyScoop (caveat: it's my own business that I'm plugging here) but i do think it's interesting to see how the moms answer this. Question is "Who was your son's favorite parent during the todder and preschool years" http://www.theskinnyscoop.com/question/review/q/1965.
