“Agree - a lot of times, it's the way we see and react to things that affects the way we feel. If we stop and examine our thought patterns and our self-talk, we can alter our thoughts for the better.
Our fears or stressors are often exaggerated in our minds, and when you think negative thoughts over and over, you're actually in a way hypnotizing yourself with those thoughts! I think that people who get depressed (other than those with actual chemical imbalances) tend to ruminate negative thoughts in their heads over and over... that would depress anyone! It's best to just try your best, but don't expect perfection out of anything (especially yourself!), don't take anything too seriously and avoid worrying too much about what others think, because when you do, you're letting them control your state of mind!”
