“Great reason to apply a DEATH PANEL TO INSURANCE UNDERWRITERS. Declare them over profitable, taking too much from the rate payers and no longer subject to ANY government protection. Then let them go looking for coverage against unfair competition, fraudulent schemes, predatory lending practices, and stockholder lawsuits.
Then deny the insurance companies access to the courts unless they pay a high risk tax surcharge because they use the court system about a thousand times more than anyone else.
Insurance companies should be required to pay higher taxes for police investigations, prosecutors, and other government services they use, because they use them more than the rest of us do.”
