“How any average American can be opposed to this is still difficult for me to understand, except with the explanation that they are simply not thinking critically and taking stances based on primitive emotion, though I understand fully why the 1% opposes it. This is a satirical take on the irrational fears of middle class conservative over the ACA. I find it highly amusing, mostly because I wrote it.
“Her iron-clad defense of his character aside, the simple fact of the matter is that if he is not trying to hide things or do things than showing us his tax returns should not be a problem. He is applying for the job of PRESIDENT and refusing a background check. Makes perfect sense.”
“You shouldn't because I'm sure it would go way over your head, since you cannot even spell. But what I mean is that had you been born 40-50 years earlier you would have been one of those people. Racial intolerance against whites is a total figment of your imagination. I am a white male and I can be honest and say it is still considerably easier for us to make it in this country, which is wrong. If you don't think that is the case you are completely out of touch with reality. The statistics tell the story.”

“ahem.. do the words "reverse discrimination" mean anything to you ? lowering the bar so people of other ethnicities can help to fill a stupid government quota ??”
“Wow, this is exactly what Bartlett was talking about when he said that one party is insane. I really do think this woman is either fully psychotic or playing that role for the sake of her fear-driven base. These are the same people who think that universal health care = communism and the McCarthy comparison is 100 percent fair.
“I totally just read that quote his in his voice. Love all the deluded conservatives in this thread who think that people who disagree with their selfish outlook on life must be deluded and of course there is plenty of blatant xenophobia in here too. You are the exact same people who opposed integration. Wrote a satirical essay about your hilarious fears, if anyone who actually uses critical thinking is interested.
“Typical ultra-liberal retoric. I NEVER thought segragation, or racial intolerance of ANY kind was right. I still don't. That includes against whites and Asians. Why should I waste my time inflating your pitiful ego by going to your blog?”

“I hope the hors d'oeuvres are good in your fan club.”
“"Frankly, one of our political parties is insane, and we all know which one it is. The have descended from the realm of reasonableness that was the mark of conservatism. They dream of anarchy, of ending government." - Bruce Bartlett
Bachmann is such a caricature of a deranged neo-con, and it's shocking that someone like that has real political power. That response letter is pure gold, though I wish it was easier to read. I wrote a satirical essay about the impotent rage of conservatives in the wake of the ACA ruling, for anyone who is interested.
