“Faxus: Have you considered that Rachel hired an attorney not so much to get money from Woods, but to protect herself from being s/u/e/d by Elin claiming a/l/i/e/n/a/t/i/o/n of affection? Legal precedence has been established for that in certain states. Not sure if Florida does. Any hint that Rachel has continued the affair will show that she acted w/i/l/l/f/u/l/l/y & intentionally. Most often d/a/m/a/g/e/s claimed for alienation of affection are based on emotional d/i/s/t/r/e/s/s or p/a/i/n and s/u/f/f/e/r/i/n/g. But a less common strategy is loss of future financial support, specifically, for Elin. Elin can a/r/g/u/e that because of the breakup of her marriage, she will lose money from her husband's "future" earnings during the remainder of his working life. Under this tort you can ask for compensatory damages for humiliation/emotional distress, but you can also ask for damages for loss of financial support. Woods' earnings can be averaged into the future. Elin can argue that she has been d/e/p/r/i/v/e/d of this financial support because of Woods' involvement with Rachel. Plus, all the other bimbo's he paid regularly too, so, I think we can surmise why Aldred is involved or any other attorney.”

Lunch - Avocado and prawns (shrimp) in a Marie Rose sauce with a piece of lettuce and tomato, or Honeydew melon with prosciutto ham with balsamic and toasted bagel and of course a good quaffing of Pinot Grigio. Then at sunset Mount Gay or Appleton's gold rum with mangoe juice or coconut water. Dinner - jerked snapper or curried beef (West Indian style) with plantain, rice and peas, breadfruit, island salad and a few bottles or more (depending on individuals) some really nice Chardonay or Merlot. Bedtime snacks of herring in wine sauce on triscuits with some more well chilled Pinot Grigio. Sleep happy! [Courtesy of the Nauti Chef... i.e.me] lol”

There were some reports awhile back that after GM's UAW was broken Toyota USA was planning on cutting its wages to around $13 per hour. ANY AMERICAN who doesn't support a union is an id iot. The investor class will not stop until they've reduced the powerless to slavery.”

“What is not available on iTunes is available at any decent CD store or CD/DVD resale shop or in your best friend's CD collection. This entire story is irrelevant to consumers and is 100% about money in the pockets of the artists and their agents. From the perspective of a consumer, albums no longer have any meaning to me. The LP format showcased not just the music but the cover art and liner notes. That format was ended by the advent of the CD jewelbox but as we all know, most albums are full of 2nd and 3rd rate material, not worth listening to. Not worth a dime of my money. Artists rant on about the "whole concept" and the this album thing and that album thing but in truth most artists, like Garth Brooks, are only interested in the money. Today these folks have to go out on the road to make their millions by performing in person and that's probably the way it should be.”

chazwik19 replied on Dec 19, 2009 at 10:42:07

“Cherrypicking songs is what Garth does not like. An album is like art....why take it apart? Let it be in one piece! I don't hate itunes, but I NEVER buy just one song .....I'm always buying the entire album.”
