“While all of that is true, you forget to mention that Lieberman won with the promise that he'd continue caucusing with Dems. He also said in the last campaign trail that he supported a public health option. Now he is backing out on both, because last March he threatened to caucus with Reps if Dems stripped him of his chairmanship.
The one person I blame for having Lieberman in the Senate is actually Obama. He should have campaigned for Ned Lamont, but he didn't out of loyalty to Lieberman (this was well-documented).
