“Not at all. Putting your hand on someones shoulder and pushing is one thing. Hitting or causing physical harm is entirely different.
I'm all against any form of physical abuse (on either side). But, I'm also fervently against police authority. They have WAYYYYYY to much power. They need to be reigned in. One surefire way to do that is to remove the extraneous laws that give them so much leeway.
What would you rather have happen? Someone pushes you? Or you live in a police state where cops can Taser old ladies. Legally.”

It's really very simple to understand climate change/global warming. One can understand it on a local level. Take a nice green meadow on a fresh spring day .... now plow all that green stuff down ( you know, the green stuff that make oxygen and water which make this planet liveable ) dredge up the soil that used to grow your freakin food and build a shopping center with parking spaces for 1000 cars (small I know) and fill up those parking spaces with 1000 cars with all that metal on hoods, roofs, and trunks not to mention the asphalt refracting all that heat back up into the atmosphere. Melting your own little polar caps. Not only did that "fresh spring day'" go extinct, but each Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter be more unpredictable. Strange extremes experienced ..... 3 days of drenching rain on the heels of 60 degree weather for weeks but yet in less than 12 hrs, straight into temps in the teens, 6 hrs sleet hitting your windows on Christmas Eve 2009 to wake up on Christmas Day with 8 inches of snow. I have seen storms. I have seen sleet. I have seen snow storms. But this is another " first" for me, 56 years old and an Oklahoma native. This is not just "Winter" ... oh wait til the Spring Floods of 2010 .... and the ICE Storm of 2007?!?! Please no one tell me the climate isn't changing ..........
