“This is just one more example of a number of countries that are supposed to be US allies where the people AND the government hate America, its people and everything it stands for. Amanda Knox should in no way give even a micro second of thought to going to that backwards and American-hating country to serve and prison!!!!!!”

“So since this person's 1st Amendment right to free speech is to freely speak his mind (and I'm using the word very loosely) but how does he get his "bully pulpit"? Not because he's intelligent or especially not because he really knows what he's talking about - But only because he's made a billion dollars as an ACTOR!!! Admittedly a very famous and very good actor - But ONLY as an actor.
Besides after everything that went on in DC over the last month or so (not to mention since 2008) all he can do is fall back on the truly famous (infamous?) far left liberal mantra "if one can't actually intelligently criticize the republicans/conservatives just call him/her/them 'racist' and that will be the end of it - quid, pro, quo"!!!!!!!!!! Finally for someone who purports to be so smart he apparently doesn't even understand what the real definition of that word is!!!!!!!!! Or "it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a country - What's left of it!! And I do mean "left"!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Why call the the "Right" when they so rarely are? Change is not always progress but progress always requires change. To fear it is to sit idle and let the world continue to pas us by.”
“This is such old news and it had no substance to begin with. HuffPost in your zeal to print ANYTHING to try and disparage Republicans you can't even find any new news!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Republicans disparage themselves, they need no help.”
"...the hundreds of people killed in the most recent alleged chemical weapons attack and the more than 100,000 souls killed in the Syrian civil war are truly tragic but are dwarfed by other much more lethal recent conflicts in which the U.S. did nothing. The United States did not intervene militarily in Congo, where 5 million people and counting have been killed, in Sudan, where the civil war and famine killed 2 million people, and in Rwanda, where the Tutsi tribe killed 800,000 members of the Hutu tribe. Even if the United States could have intervened and done something effective to make these places better -- unlikely if the recent U.S. debacles in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya are any indication -- the "responsibility to protect" doctrine advocated by U.N. ambassador Samantha Power and others is against international law for a reason. In the world's system of nation-states, in which only self defense is recognized as a legitimate excuse to use force, the "responsibility to protect" is illegal because of the tremendous potential to cause many more deaths by its huge potential for abuse. For example, the United States has used the "humanitarian" excuse for intervention many times, but the absence of intervention in the above most heinous cases and the existence of other underlying agendas in cases of U.S. intervention show the potential for cynical exploitation; other great powers have done the same."”
"It looks like Delta Airlines is bracing employees for health-insurance disruptions due to ObamaCare, by circulating copies of a letter it wrote to the Obama Administration in June, detailing the hundred million dollars in costs it would cost the company.
This news comes as a Virginia management company reveals that nearly all of its major clients have switched full-time employees to part-time, because of ObamaCare. The University of Virginia just announced that it will drop coverage for spouses, much as United Parcel Service did yesterday.
Insurance premiums are going up, plans are being canceled, full-time jobs are disappearing… and according to the Congressional Budget Office, it's all for nothing, because the number of uninsured Americans will barely change at all, at least not during the standard CBO ten-year forecast window.
What a hideous waste. And then we must add the opportunity cost of wasting our national energies on trying to change America to suit ObamaCare, instead of implementing real reforms that would actually reduce costs and increase availability. Republicans determined to defund and repeal ObamaCare should get together and endorse a package of simple, solid reforms. Show the American people what they can have, once ObamaCare is gone.
In his desperation to rally support for the deeply unpopular Affordable Care Act, President Obama likes to claim there are no Republican alternatives. That's never been true. Let's make it laughable."”
“Interesting that it's a great idea for the US to put "boots on the ground" to try and help those poor, unfortunate young African girls who have been captured by a truly evil madman who's threatening to "sell" them into marriages. But yet when a US ambassador and three other embassy staff were being murdered and the US military was ordered to "stand down" by the White House even though the embassy begged for help at least 24-36 hours before the "terrorist" attack and NOT some demonstration against a anti-Islamic video.”

“The problem with your post begins with the lie that our forces were told to stand down and the fact that this was a consulate and not an embassy that was attacked. Our embassy was well guarded and no such stand down order was ever issued.”
