Not everyone will become a marathon runner but even wheelchair bound individuals participate in sports so come on let's for once give a nod to personal responsibility. No matter what your health condition you can usually prevent become morbidly obese”

Vicki Kennedy On Oprah: I Can't Share Teddy's Last Words
Commented Nov 26, 2009 at 10:05:04 in Politics
“Last words can be funny or simply honest but usually they are private and for loved ones. (I say this because I have done hospice care.) One day my oldest brother was driving his wife to the store on a wintry Michigan day. He stopped when he saw a woman in the ditch and single-handedly pushed her out. He returned to his car and drove on, but about after five miles he turned to his wife and said, "I don't think that did me a bit of good." To her amazement he drove into the ditch and died of a heart attack. As far as I know those were his last words.
The moral of the story is...you don't judge one by their last words...better to judge one by their last deeds. Somewhere in Michigan is a woman who is living her life unaware of what the consequences of a simple push in the snow amounted to. It was a selfless act of love and at some point you believe there is a purpose to all of this or there is not. I think there isl The point is leave a path of love behind you and everyone will know where you are going and where you came from. Leave a different path and people will only know where they would wish you to go.”

It would be a sorry day were America to promote people to the position of VP because of their race, gender or class. Of all top positions, these have to be earned and approved by the people.
Hillary Clinton had her chance. She blew it by being dishonest (outrageously lying repeatedly during her campaign, flipflopping on issues, unleashing the most vitriolic political campaign in memory, with nasty untrue innuendos hurled Obama's way, and mismanaging her campaign all the way into the ground.
Furthermore, when this woman was practicing law, she was fired by a fellow democrat for being an unethical, dishonest lawyer and a liar. That, in my view, should have precluded her from ever holding public office. If we don't think honesty and ethics are important qualifications for a president, then there is no hope for America.”
