“agree George, but it's not just the animal welfare aspect, it's the waste disposal dumped into rivers and lagoons seeping into water tables and soil and water quality. It's Swine flue cesspools of pig crap. These corps don't clean up the waste because it's just too much money to spend which will hurt their profits.

The other aspect is the meat itself. it's really not pure meat anymore. It's got so much antibiotics and hormones in it. The reason for this is that factory farmed animals are quite diseased, deformed and very unhealthy due to their living conditions. They sleep in their own crap and can't move at all. Baby piglets born deformed are just left to die or worse, killed or banged against the concrete floor. Don't believe me? read and do your own research. Plus there are plenty of youtube videos of horrific footage at factory farms and processing plants.

The other thing is do we really want to eat meat from an animal that has been so genetically modified it really doesn't have the capacity to live like an animal anymore? Chickens that can't stand up because they are bread for their breasts? it's so much more than humane and clean conditions.

it's also the environmental impact of feeding billions of factory animals bred for meat. Do we really need to eat so much meat? Just by cutting out meat once a week we can do alot.”

Also, it's almost impossible for the vast majority of people to buy meat that doesn't come from a factory farm. Even when you THINK you aren't buying from a factory farm, you most likely are. That's why the only way to truly get rid of this industry is to starve it of sales, by becoming vegan.”
