“Unemployment is all I have to live on right now, I've worked in Healthcare management for thirty years and haven't been able to find a job so I'm attending school again....at age sixty... to be able to do the clinical end. If my benefits run out in January I'm basically out in the street...I've already had to file for Chapter thriteen bankruptcy and am barely holding onto my house what the hell do the REPUBLICANS care as long as they have their's it's screw the rest of us. Bush and his gang created the biggest economic mess in our histroy but you'd think to listen to the GOPER trolls it just suddenly all happened when President Obama took office. If they don't pass this measure I think your going to see a million or more unemployed people mad as hell and marching in the streets.”

I live in a high unemployment state and have been out of work for a year. My savings is gone, and was spent on health insurance which I can no longer afford. My daughter's husband is also out of work. After working my entire adult life with only one small break back in '93, I'm having a hard time remaining positive. There are 200+ applicants for any job opening, high-paying and menial, and getting an interview is a feat in itself! The UI benefit extensions have been the one thing in the stimulus plan that has directly helped the average Joe. I hope Congress acts quickly. I know some people are beginning to think they are better off dead than living with so much uncertainty.”
