“If people get a dog of any breed because some celebrity has one they aren't just idiots they are really rather shallow. I have a Chihuahua named Rosie who's a total Joy, especially after losing my husband last year. She sat with him everyday while he suffered through brain cancer, never left his side. Dogs are as good as the people who own them. Too bad there are so many lousy people in this world, Dogs wag their tails instead of their tongues, that's what makes them wonderful! I hope they can find good homes for these dogs they deserve it.”
Does Death Exist? New Theory Says 'No'
Commented Dec 09, 2009 at 12:24:46 in Living
“My husband was diagnosed in November 2004 with two brain tumors, both malignant, one aggressive the other slow growing, he chose no treatment, "why should I be sick and feel like Hell when the outcome will be the same in the end" he said. It was his life, his body and his choice, he was a very strong man, he lived for three and a half years after being given six months to a year to live. I didn't call hospice in until three months before his death. He became very peaceful, sometimes difficult but he was at peace in his eyes. His last day was spent in his favorite chair with his remote in one hand and our little dog where she always was behind him on the chair, usually licking his head, On February 13Th, 2008, I sat with him and held his hand in his last breaths, he smiled at me and then left. Yes he was on 10 cc's of Valium, but in those last minutes when he looked at me I knew he was at peace and leaving for some place better, I've never been a very religious person, I think religion was taken over by a bunch of shysters who are out to make a buck I believe we must leave our body and go off into a universe of some unknown place. I just hope when my time comes I can leave with as much grace and peace as my dear husband.”

A Love Letter To My Husband
Commented Oct 08, 2009 at 12:18:27 in Living
“I too lost my dear husband on February 13, 2008 from a Brain Tumor, he took no treatment, he said he wanted to keep as much of himself for me and the family as possible before it was time to leave.
It's a feeling of being so helpless I think when someone you love so deeply has cancer, you can't take their pain away, you can't give them back their balance, or strong legs and arms that once held you, you can't eat for them to give them that nourishment they need so badly, and sadly you can't give them back their memory, which is the biggest loss. My husband died in his chair holding a remote, just as we always joked he would, before the cancer. He had long ago lost the ability to go for a walk, drive, or do much of anything in life he always did, but what he did do was give us as much time as possible before he could take no more.
I'm so sorry for your loss, sometimes I watch the video of us renewing our marriage vows, one of his "bucket list items", and just to see him alive and speaking gives me solace, may you find peace and love from all those memories you have made together, no disease can take those away.”

“George Bush, DICK and the gang helped the well healed and destroyed the middle class, the banks and corporations are nothing more than greedy bastards lining their pockets on the backs of hard working Americans. Michael Moore tells it like it is, from the Auto industry to Wall Street to the Banks and the military industrial complex. Yet the good old GOPERS bow at the feet of their fearless leaders and believe every line of Bullshit they offer. For the first time in my sixty years I'm out of work, cannot find a job, I'm hoping to hold onto my house, I will be lucky if I can, I'm filing out paperwork to file bankruptcy for the first time in my life I cannot understand what's happening to this country. My husband died last year of a brain tumor, right now I'm thankful because I would not want him to still be here suffering like he was and watching all of this go down. It's not just me believe me, I visited with my cousins in Alpine Utah this past weekend. He's a former FBI agent, life long Republican, he told me he voted for Obama, because he simply can't stand what the Republicans have done to this country, I nearly passed out. This guy would never vote for a Democrat, but he's seen his sons lose their jobs. He's worried so am I.”

Forget that I spent the last 10 years of my career as a very successful CFO (in the public sector for transportation agencies) and cut costs and added to the bottom line of each transportation agency I worked for.
I would encourage you to stay positive. It is really easy to become down-trodden when there seems to be no light anywhere. We are all worried but I keep telling myself that we certainly will not go down the tubes. We cannot be circling the drain as a country. Something has to break and it will not be us.

Tell the GOP to go to Hell, they destroyed our Country, played the fear card, still are, called anyone who didn't agree with their little butt head leader BUSH and DARTH, unpatriotic, anyone who questions the War in Iraq was labeled UN American and a Coward. Why would anyone in their right mind think that they would want to change their ways and allow health care or any other thing that would benefit the Middle Class in this country to pass. They said NO to anything and everything the President and his administration has said or done since day one, they won't change, don't want to change and will never change, so SCREW them, pass the dam health care reform bill with the public option and let's move forward.”

Then she says she only watches FAUX NEWS because they give both sides, hahahahaha I nearly wet my pants laughing. This shows the total ignorance of people, they have a few snippets of information and base their judgement on that, just like when George told them all that Iraq was responsible for 911, "ya, George said that, it must be so, let's invade".
I think the GOP should put out a fly-er, "Come join the GOP where facts are irrelevant, lies are standard and fear is our motto, come join us we will invade any Country we don't like, we will give all our money and attention to the Corporations and Wall Street, and you can be a slave".

Hitler wanted a "perfect race", that would be "White" with blond hair and blue eyes, pure genes. He also felt the way to achieve that was to eliminate anyone who wasn't "white" "pure" as he saw it, that meant all the Jews had to go, anyone who sympathized with them had to go and blacks, Asians or any other race that didn't fit into his rational would be sent to the death camps.
