“BUT her point on Obama being a failure is right on the mark.”

Pupadup4oBama replied on Dec 16, 2009 at 13:42:38

“How is he a failure? he hasn't even completed his first term in office.
We gave Bush 8 years to destroy this country.”

“True, but she's still mostly bitter over Obama beating her gal Hillary, not over his bungling of health care reform. This crops up again and again in her blogs.”

“I agree and this is one Republican who won't be voting for Obama who DID NOT keep his promises.
He will be a one term failure in the eyes f history.”

“I'm a lifelong Dem who voted for Kucinich in the Primary but Obama in the Election, but I really don't think I will be voting for him twice as he's just a human windsock that is able to say really pretty speeches with no gravitas to back them up. He's either corporate owned through and through or just a naive and poor leader who doesn't know how to get tought to get things done. Either way, I'm through with supporting him.”

“Oh give me a break. He has had to fight the idiots in his own party every step of the way and the moronic Repugs who come out lying and screaming No. Today alone the black caucus caused a vote to be put off that was major to President Obama meeting one of his goals.

As fas as messing up in Copenhagen> LOL Right like he can COMMIT to something that has not gone through Congress. Get real and realize your not talking to uneducated teabaggers at this site.”

THEY can go back to paying for their own insurance because, and PUT THIS IN THE BANK, they will no longer serve in office.”

Many seem to have forgot that Represent means to RE PRESENT our opinions, not their own,”

No reason to give it to my congressman who is a wood-headed, gop bot, Manzullo. He is known for some of the worst questioning and is a complete idiot.
But, we have Durbin as Senator - fantastic! and Obama was our senator as well.”

Conservatives and Off-Base Lefties: Can You Top This?

Commented Oct 11, 2009 at 23:05:41 in Politics

“Thank you.
I have spent the last 3 days defending this award. He is the President of this country and finally we are no longer the thugs of the world. We have a person leading this country who we can be proud to say leads us.
The spittle covered right have finally shown their true colors though and for that I am glad. The more they scream and dribble the farther and farther they move from winning elections. Thankfully there are not enough uneducated in this country that vote.”

Troyxx replied on Oct 12, 2009 at 02:57:47

“Bravo! Well said.
ALL Americans should be immensely proud that their Prez won such a prestigious award. The fact that some are blubbering away about whether he deserves it or not is based on race. Some of these lunatics will never accept a black man in the WH. To go from the good old corrupt Bush/Cheney days to a democratic majority with Obama as leader is just too much for these racist SOBs. They pose a grave threat to US security and should be charged with treason.”

SolarPowerGuy replied on Oct 12, 2009 at 00:25:39

“"finally we are no longer the thugs of the world."

Ummm, no, not yet, not by a long shot. Talk is cheap. We have to actually DO something first.

For starters, let's see Guantanamo closed -- and let's see whether America complies with the International Conventions Against Torture, to which America is a signatory. The ICAT requires signatory nations to investigate allegations of torture which may have taken place in their country or at the hands of their country's people. Failing that, we have to let international inspectors in to do the job. Other signatory nations have been holding their fire for now, but how long can we expect them to wait?”

“Not the point at all. Of course he does not need it! BUT it is the action of a college taking a political stand based on ignorance that concerns people, and those who graduated from there. To say the President is not accomplished enough? A lie and a true political sickness that reeks of racism.”

ideveloper replied on Apr 15, 2009 at 13:16:21

“It's completely the point. The president is not wasting his time whining about this insult like a harpie. He's focused on things that matter such as keeping the national spirit optimistic, handling the economy, handling healthcare and so on.

This is what's so great about Obama. He stays focused on what's really important.”

“THANK YOU! As I read, daily, all the teeth gnashing over Obama doing this or that I get really perturbed. He is doing just what he said he would all along. For those who apparently chose to ignore him? Shame on them.
He will work with both sides of the House and Senate to achieve his goals and how he gets there? Is meaningless because it is what the American people want and what he promised us.

As a Republican who voted for Obama? I am ashamed of those in my party who refuse to put this country first.”

“While your stand on this issue is apparent, it is becoming apparent to me that this is not an easy question of deciding who is right vs wrong. Obama is NOT the sitting President and we have enough problems right here at home to divert his attention in preparing to accept office.
Yes what is occuring there is HORRIBLE and my heart breaks at the pictures BUT WE have children starving to death and without homes RIGHT HERE and Obama's FIRST priority is the USA.
Hate to sound like a witch but it is time an America leader put this country first in my opinion.”

Israel is no longer a helpless little nation fighting for survival. They instead have now become a conquering nation willing to use our money and weapons to inflict atricities against innocent civilians who have had the Israeli boot on their neck for decades. All with our tax money, weapons and political support. Yes, let's put America first and cut this rogue nation of Israel loose and use that money to rebuild our own country.”

Obama's team seems to be just fine and I have no doubt that they will handle this crisis as best they can...which means that no one will make 100% correct calls all the time. No one.
None of his team are Wall Street people. You reference Summers as one yet he has never worked on Wall Street. Never. Imagine that.

I really hate to see people who will become giddy at the first sign of trouble.”

His arguments do not ever hold water, most are seen by the responses as whines and it amazes me that he cannot be proud of a member of his own race! Not support him based on political differences? Sure but he never posts those so one is left to feel that it is personal and since Senator Obama hasn't as clue as to who he is, it isn't personal on a personal basis. Jealous. How sad.”

“Gosh Earl....ever do any homework? The AP poll used 44% Evangelicals Christians as opposed to the 23% that ALL other polls use. Think 44% of this country are Evangelical Christians? Nope.
This is why most major MSM did not tout this poll and even the McCain campaign did not.
