“Why is this not headline news? I had to dig for this article and Van Hollen seems to be the only one driving these basic mathematical points. Republicans want the benefits of ACA without Obama's name on the law. funny thing is that they are the ones that coined it.
There has been news of the WH not "selling" the healthcare law or deflecting the misinformation. Here's a great example of the WH doing it's part and the news media placing these facts on the back pages.”

“Careful now... you might make Chuck Todd, WH "reporter" extraordinaire cry. He'll probably just try to blame someone else for his lack of effort.”
“Not yet confirmed as a candidate and Rove is attacking.
GOP polls have her in striking distance over a year away.
And only 60% repubs like him.
Looks like more than just the grass is gonna' be blue. haha”

“They did the same thing to Liz Warren before she ran for the Senate, and that worked real good for them. Getting ready to say goodbye to a lot of the Grouchy Old Pathetic party members like McConnell in 2014”
“Gone are the days when you didn't expose your political affiliation with your news source. Maybe there are more choices, news was less partisan, or i was just more oblivious to it back then; not yet sure if that's bad or good.”
“so you’re saying the Bush years had nothing to do with the dip in unemployment and Obama didn't correct the ship? Gas was 2.00$ average in 2008? Also, what was your retirement plan doing in 2008 if you had one? Suffering from Romnesia?”

“The Bush years absoultely did. He was a terrible president and so was Obama. You're asking me if Obama corrected the ship when it comes to unemployment? You should be able to answer that for yourself!!! Romnesia? Is that supposed to be a joke or something? There are a lot of people out here that are hungry that aren't laughing fool”
“One sure way to tell that the President won the debate; there's no news about it the next morning. Environment got lost in the shuffle this election. I guess it's not associated with deregulation and international affairs anymore. The debate schedules and topics seem to favor Romney. Good thing that there aren't many areas that he is strong, other than selling Ponzi like schemes without details. Just hope that the US people aren't like one of the companies that got suckered into one of his "win - win" low on details mergers that seem to always end in bankruptcy for the companies that buy into it.”

“We are spending trillions of dollars that we don't have every year and you want to call Romney's plan a ponzi scheme?
We have been living a ponzi scheme for the last 40 years.”
“Labor statistics, polls, deficit, the DOW, GDP. are only relevant or right if they favor the Right. Otherwise they are flawed. Not being bipartisan means you can't make the Right say yes, no matter what you say. A Right wing tax plan is one that everyone gets everything they want (unless you really need it) and they will let you in on the cost and how to pay for it later, and the president is inadequate because he can't come up with ideas like this. "I can stop China and that will create 3 million jobs, I can start manufacturing and that will create 7 million jobs. Oh yeah, you can get health care if you don't have it by going to jail or debtors prison, that's universal and everyone pays double for it out of their taxes, but you won't have that stupid Romneycare, oops, I mean Obamacare.”

“Do you really think that Obama knows more about how business works?”
“Where is all the liberal media these jokers keep talking about? Personally I would like to hear some of it. But all I get is an overload of headlines of how much Romney won the first debate with his "aggressive, high energy", and how the President lost because he was too "polite". Then, after this VP debate there is barely any news of how well Biden put the "Inconsistencies and vagueness" of the Romney/Ryan campaign on display. All I get is a spattering of how disrespectful Biden was with his "aggressive, high energy" and how pleasingly "polite" Ryan was.

“What gives is that the media will feed the public whatever it feels the public will eat at that moment...
The media is creating a horse race. In the short run media creates interest in order to sell air time, digital ad space and to a lesser degree these days, newspapers.
Most often I feel as if I am being conned.
And all the while the trajectory remains the same: the continued privatization of the public sphere and the redistribution of wealth upward...”
