I'm sure Ms. "I've got a set" would surely be doing what BO has done since garnering the nomination, reaching out to his detractors, opening up the dialogue for debate, actually listening to his constituents. NOT.

Campaign finance: BO could get no reassurance from Mc N uts that he could control the Repub. 527's et al (a caveat he stated from the time he first proposed public financing) and thus wisely, opted out, choosing instead to allow THE PEOPLE, sans lobbyists' and PAC money, to fund his campaign. Wise move I'd say as already Mc Whiner has his "swiftboat" squad, and the NRA's 15 million smear ad campaign poised and ready to go. I can't think of anything more democratic than the people, the people who support you, not just "taxpayer money," funding a political campaign.

As a STAUNCH defender of the Bill of Rights, he is now, and has always been, a supporter of the 2nd amendment, (gun ownership for recreation and self protection) along with stricter background checks, eliminating straw purchases, closing the gun show loop holes, etc. If you ever listened to one of his townhalls, you would know that.

MoveOn has a new "escrow" thing where we can put out money where our mouths are. You "pledge" money to O's campaign, and pay up when he comes to his senses. That seems to be a good way to show him where his supporters are coming from....”
