“Every blessing upon you MC! Find what appeals to your most core Cosmic form being and explore it as a reflection of your own essence. It is from you to you. There is only one MC in the entire Universe. This was a teaching of my beloved cat Smootie. She was a very special animal. She taught me something about the Universe every moment she was with me for 15 years. Her Smootieness was a Cosmic Revelation. Her passing this August was very quick. It was leukemia sarcoma within 18 hours. The vet had not seen it at all in a checkup two weeks before when she was doing well from a previous bout with a hyperthyroid condition. For her it was time to go. She was that way in everything she did. Always flowing in each stage of life. I was in such awe of that beautiful little cat that I put on a coat and tie to bury her in the back yard where she liked to sit in the evening. I held her in total reverence every day. There is honor in every life form.

“To me the concept of "God" in the Abrahamic religions is very limited. The Buddhists are much further along. So is Swedenborg. But I am mostly Sufi in my thoughts. Rumi says it all for me. To me every atom is for our training for profound transcendent understanding. My greatest spiritual teacher in life so far was the last cat I had for 15 years who recently passed.
To me "God" is the collective consciousness of all beings in the Universe/Multiverse. All consciousnesses that have ever taken form, all consciousnesses that are now in a form, and all consciousnesses that will ever take a form in the future anywhere in the Universe/Multiverse. This vast sea of consciousness is God.
Anything less than this is too limiting for me. I really see no religion on this planet yet out of this foundation. But I think we will eventually get to that understand in ten or twenty thousand years. All revelation from now on will be scientific understanding of all that we encounter in the Creation. Every aspect of the Creation is the Teaching.
Shared knowledge on the Internet is our best chance yet to advance over the next 50-100. To this end I recommend these books on the profound knowledge of Wold Ages which it appears is the highest spiritual knowledge the human race has discerned so far:

“Spot on. That is exactly where we are going. We defeated the British at Yorktown in 1781. Then they won it all back in December of 1913 on the eve of WWI when the Federal Reserve was created. We then went down with them in Two World Wars and the aftermath as "victors". They lost their Empire. We thought we had inherited it for the big bucks and power. It then bankrupted us in continuous war and slaughter and endless war debt to the bankers since WWII as you said. By 2050 we will be destitute and completely ravaged by the financial elite who have extracted every last penny out of everyone and are on intravenous Prozac on their private island somewhere. The Chinese will take over. But those of us who survive may regain some human happiness once the Empire is over and we are off the endless exhausting treadmill.

“Bed time for me! But a question for you V.V. - What do you make of Catherine Austin Fitts? She had been warning about all this coming in various degrees of expression since 1998. I just don't know how to take her on some things but she appears highly intelligent, very knowledgeable as to the D.C. ropes, and , therefore, very credible. As an insider she seems to be telling a very plausible story. But it is so shocking that it is hard for the average American myself included to grasp the true extent of the corruption in our system. It is all a tale of crony capitalism at it's very worst. The unholy alliance between Wall Street and Washington D.C. has been wide open for anyone to see since September 2008. I believe she was telling the truth from day one in her odyssey. The system is corrupt beyond words and has been for a very, very long time. Now it is there for all to see per Matt Taibbi in Rolling Stone and the Evening News every day now.

The NFL's Concussion Conundrum

“Dave Meggyesy,
What an honor it is to hear from you on this HuffPo thread! I was always a big fan of both you and your book. It is good to know you are still in the game of life which is the field of existence that certainly matters most. I played in high school in very hard scrabble country and at the Division IAA level. I had at least three concussions. One was very severe. It has bothered me all my life. There has been numbness in that side of my head and face for decades so I know there is something to this. A female friend of mine is being treated in private practice by the expert for the Steelers. She has networked some for me and I may get an opportunity to get into a study they are doing. The only NFL caliber back I ever tackled was Pete Larson who later went on to the Washington Redskins. Ouch! I still remember what that felt like head on. At that moment I readily accepted that I was clearly out of that league...on the front end!
I have always admired your great intelligence and insight. Every blessing upon you!”

“Yep. Only stay if the Afghans will check between their legs, see if there is anything there, and fight for their country against the Taliban. If they won't get out. It is as simple as that Did it take the minutemen ten years to train an army to fight to American Revolutionary War. No. The British mercantile system drove them to it. They had had enough and rose up. It is the same for the Afghans and the Taliban. Fight for your own country. If they will they are worthy of help. If not, they aren't and we are wasting American lives , our treasure, and our time.”

“Indeed. It is the greatest theft in the history of the entire world. The greatest transfer of wealth ever. Yet the American people do not understand what has been done to them, their children, and their grand children. The Titanic analogy fits. Wall Street is in First Class. The American people on their Main Street is locked below in steerage. There is no room in the life boats for the great mass of people. The water will be cold. That is what is happening. It was decades in the making. The American people were far to naive to understand how the financial markets of the United States were turned into completely unregulated gambling casinos with everyone's life savings. Were the great mass of the American people complete dupes? Yes.

Commented Nov 24, 2009 at 10:15:02 in Politics
“I respectfully disagree. You can indeed undo eight years of bad policy in one year if you know exactly what you are doing in economics. This Administration was clearly not prepared for the scope of this. They cannot see the fundamental problems that desperately need addressed. Geithner, Summers, and Bernanke are the agents of Wall Street NOT Main Street. It is as simple as that. Wall Street still totally and completely owns the entire government of the United States. Our problems are systemic over the last 30 years. There are many other voices out there that know exactly what top do and have been saying so for almost four years now. No one is listening..”
Will The Unemployment Disaster Be Obama's Katrina?
Commented Nov 24, 2009 at 10:08:39 in Politics
“No one can fix it. It's origins go back to the 1890's. It is structural to how our system of government and our system of political parties and our system of rigged insider "capitalism" operate. We are now broke as an economic system and we now live in a rogue system of endless war for the profit of a tiny few and endless death for others. This is a brilliant article. But the window is closing. There is no more than six months left and many will start to drown in the terrible storm. Empowering the Geithner, Summers, and Bernanke mindset was fatal. When Charlie Rose asked Geithner on camera if he saw this coming he said "No". That is all you need to know. We are in deep, deep trouble. Wall Street will always trump Main Street in our existing system. They win. The people lose. It is as simple as that. Time is running out very, very fast. In 2010 it is all going to hit the fan big time.”
venusvictrix replied on Nov 25, 2009 at 01:23:33
“Do you really believe Geithner's response? I don't.
Too many saw it coming. Too many who weren't in high places, who didn't have powerful associations that paid them handsomely for "not seeing it coming".
It was so obvious that everything was overinflated: real estate; the stock market; people's expectations.
I agree with you that we're in deep trouble. I don't believe Geithner.”

“Outstanding post. You are right. It is all slipping away. Geithner and Summers were fatal before this Administration every got out of the blocks and into the game. Obama could not escape his indoctrination by an Ivy League education. The goal of an Ivy league education is to make one actually believe that the Eastern Establishment of the United States knows what it is doing. It doesn't and hasn't since WWII. All it knows is how to empower Wall Street and the MIC on grain alcohol. Vietnam was a deranged catastrophe of blind ideology and to this day no one produced by this system has learned a thing. How do I know? Because I have an Ivy League education and I have moved among these highly conventional people at various points in my life.Obama needs to think from the mean streets of Chicago and forget all about Columbia and Harvard. He needs to dump these people and send them packing. They cannot help him one iota. He must seek out rebels and free thinkers who have not pickled their brains in the terrible orthodoxy that has taken us to ruin. Obama is a man of very considerable talents. Who can free him from the plague that is the arrogant thinking of the lock step Jonestown like money cult of the Ivy League mindset? These people have no idea what they are doing. Zero. Nada. Zippo. They only think they do.”
