“I think Hank Azaria is to be complimented on what he does and is committed to. We should all applaud this representative of Hollywood and show business.
You are talking about us giving money to other countries, but that has nothing to do with Hank Azaria's wonderful contribution to education in our country. Anyway, European countries have free education without mine or your tax dollars.
How about sticking to what Hank Azaria does and giving some positive feedback instead of griping and emphasizing the negative?
By the way, I think your comments belong on the Fox Channel and not in the Huffington Post.”

Truman got rid of MacArthur. President Obama, it is your move to save American lives from some of these military cowboys.”

“What's wong with "socialized" medicine? Medicare is "socialized" medicine, Germany and many other European countries have socialized medicine and even Canada has it. Is that a disease? What's wrong with us? I think that the "capitalistic" medicine system has brought us this crisis, so how could "socialized" medicine be any worse, where everybody is covered and it is less expensive than our existing system?
There is only ONE solution: A massive March on Washington and March on the Capitol and the White House. The people don't have the money to buy off Congress, but we have the power to remove an unresponsive corrupt Congress. If Obama does not want to stand by his campaign rhetoric and transform it into action and leadership, we will find another leader who will.”

“They corrupted the unions by paying of the leaders and then they emasculated them with the Taft-Hartley Act and the corporation laughed their heads off. Anybody who stood up against the corporations was called a Communist and Socialist. They took away the Labor day, which is celebrated in the whole world and substituted, with permission of the corporations, a unique American Labor Day without marching.
Obama took the officers who came from Goldman-Sachs, Geithner and Summers, and gave them free reign in our financial world. They created the mess and they supposedly will straighten it out........ or will they?

Larry, I am with you. Let us take this out of the hands of the paid off politicians, the lobbyists and their masters. We, the American people, whether Republicans or Democrats, have to stick together and fight this battle together to bring our house in order. It is our house.”

We need a solution now! 47million uninsured and daily the numbers grow, when people are losing their jobs and homes and you tell them, that we have to take a few years to change our whole approach to health care delivery? Humbug!
I am on Medicare and I have the best health care and the best physicians. I overcame three different cancers and had wonderful care on Medicare.
It's the private insurance companies, stupid, (like Clinton used to say about the economy) ,nothing else. Don't you see that? Take them out of the equation and, voila, you have a good system, comparable with other industrialized nations. Canada doesn't have to make a long fundamental study. It works there and in Germany and in France and in Great Britain.
Tell the people who are dying, that they'll have to wait a few years.for the correct and best system....”

“We really didn't need Dr. Weil to tell us that we pay more per capita in our broken health care system and have one of the worst systems in the world and probably by far the worst in the industrialized world. President Obama has been saying that for months, but the Insurance and Pharmceutical Companies lobbyists are paying millions to the blue dog renegade Democrats and Republicans to keep the American people from getting a better system.
Our Physicians and other healthcare deliverers have abandoned us and let the pencil pushing employees and executives of the insurance companies come in between us and our doctors. These insurance company employees are making life and death decision for us and and only are concerned with their exhorbitant profits. We all know that "administrative" costs of the insurance companies, which include the millions of dollars of executive salaries and profits run at 20% or higher, while Medicare administrative cost are at 3%!
The solution to our healthcare dilemma is simple: MEDICARE FOR ALL! Medicare has been a total success for us old people. We couldn't live without it. So, why discriminate against persons because they are younger. There are 40 million or so uninsured, but they are not over 65, except if they don't want to br insured.
Dr. Weil, please stop cooperating with the insurance companies. Become an active member of PNHP ( Physicians for a National Health Program). You are only complicating the issues.”

The same goes for health care delivery. The most efficient approach to assure the best healthcare delivery is through the Single Payer System, were all decisions are made by the Physician and the Patient without any profit consideration. This is the success of the Canadian and the Western European System. Proper healthcare delivery is a right and not a privilege for all American”

“Let's get one thing straight: I prefer a Republican anytime before a mealy mouthed spineless Democrat. I know where I stand with the former, but it is the latter that are basically a fifth column (traitors) in the Democratic party. So, a curse on both their houses.
To be sure, there are great Democrats and you mentioned some of them, though I think Frank fell asleep at the wheel. Give me Bernie Sanders any time and Kucinich and Leahy and Feingold, when he doesn't get into bed with some Republican, I really don't care, who that Republican is.
Just look at my wonderful Senator Mikulski in Maryland: She'll vote for anything that will increase the Pentagon budget, because she thinks her power base is with the veterans and assumes that veterans are for wars and consequently for increasing the profits of the military contractors.
But a lot of today's veterans are different. They don't like the to see the caskets arrive in Dover, DE or the fighting of a war against the Taliban in Afghanistan, a fight which the Russians abandoned years ago, because you can't win a war against a people's movement (partisans) in the hills and valleys of their own country.
Remember Hitler's war against Tito in Yugoslavia or the US in Vietnam (over 57 000 dead Americans) taking over after the French pulled out? It seems our "leaders" never learn. and Obama doesn't seem to learn either from history, so he repeats the earlier mistakes.”

“Obama is a wonderful talker but he doesn't deliver. All his financial geniusses are graduates of Goldman Sachs and have pledged allegiance to the big banking firms. Geithner, Summers and Bernanke are all partners in the biggest robbery ever. Goldman, Sachs and cohorts are putting the Mafia to shame. They are stealing us blind. What Bush failed to accomplish by raiding our Treasury to pay Halliburton and other war profiteers for the Iraq war which was based on lies, is being finished off by Obama.
Enough is enough! If they would have given the people the money they gave to the banks, corporations and insurance companies, the people would have spent it and jump start the economy by either going out and buying cars, paying their mortgages, paying off their credit card debts or paying for the college education of their kids.
But no! Obama doesn't trust the people. He trusts the corrupt banks and AIG, GM and Bank of America, who took the billions and haven't invested a dime in the economy or the creation of jobs. They only increased their salaries and gave themselves bonusses. I've got an MBA in Finance, and I recognize corruption when I see it.
Wake up America, you are being taken to he cleaners!”

“Too true! Except I don't blame President Obama (not entirely). Bush's Secretary of the Treasury was Henry Paulson, the former CEO of Goldman Sachs. He let Lehman, a Sachs' competitor sink, then rescued AIG which insured the Sachs' investments. Geithner was a willing dupe at the New York Reserve Bank and Summers is one of the economic brains of the Reagan administration. He has recommended voiding the capital gains taxes as a job enhancement measure. Obama has merely supported some policy consistency. i look forward to him letting these guys go when their policies fail.
I have no faith what so ever in Bush or McCain -- Who did after all, say Phil Gramm was the smartest man he knew. I think we have to ride out the storm with Obama and be grateful it is him in office and not McCain.
