I am on Medicare and I have the best health care and the best physicians. I overcame three different cancers and had wonderful care on Medicare.
It's the private insurance companies, stupid, (like Clinton used to say about the economy) ,nothing else. Don't you see that? Take them out of the equation and, voila, you have a good system, comparable with other industrialized nations. Canada doesn't have to make a long fundamental study. It works there and in Germany and in France and in Great Britain.
Tell the people who are dying, that they'll have to wait a few years.for the correct and best system....”

“We really didn't need Dr. Weil to tell us that we pay more per capita in our broken health care system and have one of the worst systems in the world and probably by far the worst in the industrialized world. President Obama has been saying that for months, but the Insurance and Pharmceutical Companies lobbyists are paying millions to the blue dog renegade Democrats and Republicans to keep the American people from getting a better system.
Our Physicians and other healthcare deliverers have abandoned us and let the pencil pushing employees and executives of the insurance companies come in between us and our doctors. These insurance company employees are making life and death decision for us and and only are concerned with their exhorbitant profits. We all know that "administrative" costs of the insurance companies, which include the millions of dollars of executive salaries and profits run at 20% or higher, while Medicare administrative cost are at 3%!
The solution to our healthcare dilemma is simple: MEDICARE FOR ALL! Medicare has been a total success for us old people. We couldn't live without it. So, why discriminate against persons because they are younger. There are 40 million or so uninsured, but they are not over 65, except if they don't want to br insured.
Dr. Weil, please stop cooperating with the insurance companies. Become an active member of PNHP ( Physicians for a National Health Program). You are only complicating the issues.”

But a lot of today's veterans are different. They don't like the to see the caskets arrive in Dover, DE or the fighting of a war against the Taliban in Afghanistan, a fight which the Russians abandoned years ago, because you can't win a war against a people's movement (partisans) in the hills and valleys of their own country.
Remember Hitler's war against Tito in Yugoslavia or the US in Vietnam (over 57 000 dead Americans) taking over after the French pulled out? It seems our "leaders" never learn. and Obama doesn't seem to learn either from history, so he repeats the earlier mistakes.”

Geithner, Summers and Bernanke are all partners in the biggest robbery ever. Goldman, Sachs and cohorts are putting the Mafia to shame. They are stealing us blind. What Bush failed to accomplish by raiding our Treasury to pay Halliburton and other war profiteers for the Iraq war which was based on lies, is being finished off by Obama.
Enough is enough! If they would have given the people the money they gave to the banks, corporations and insurance companies, the people would have spent it and jump start the economy by either going out and buying cars, paying their mortgages, paying off their credit card debts or paying for the college education of their kids.
But no! Obama doesn't trust the people. He trusts the corrupt banks and AIG, GM and Bank of America, who took the billions and haven't invested a dime in the economy or the creation of jobs. They only increased their salaries and gave themselves bonusses. I've got an MBA in Finance, and I recognize corruption when I see it.
Wake up America, you are being taken to he cleaners!”
