“She is right! Government Mandating the purchase of Healthcare Insurance will be challenged all the way to the Supreme court and, IMO, will be found unconstitutional. This is not the same as having the State grant you the "privilege" of driving a motor vehicle(that's a choice on your part... you can walk or use public transportation). Nobody licenses your being alive and therefore subject to disease or injury... therefore, nobody can force you to buy Healthcare Insurance to protect you from being alive... the analogy is flawed. I believe that Obama knew this when he was campaigning and he derided Hillary Clinton for proposing the same Mandate that he's now so eager to sign... either he's playing the game of passing the blame onto the Supreme court... and dealing with this after 2012 when he hopes to be serving a second term or he REALLY thinks that by then those 30 million new government subsidized voters will be casting their vote for him and the Congress would have to find someway to clean up the mess... maybe by letting those 30M people buy into Medicare.... how novel and noble... yeah! This is change we can believe!”

The Insurance Companies who gain millions of new, young, relatively healthy(low cost) customers that are now forced to buy insurance. No wonder Obama never committed his political capital to The Public Option... he knew all long that it would never see the light of day. They've played us for fools(again)! 1 Get rid of the Public Option and expand Medicare for all those who would have qualified for the PO.

2 Add to that pool f people those unemployed and over 50 years old

3 Make it effective by July 4, 2010
