“Keith Olbermann really surprised me when he said he didn't vote. Maybe that's all progressives really do...gripe plenty, but don't 'do' the voting!”

“Too many people grew accustomed the the way Bush ran this country as a dictator and not a President. I will not abandon him now, I'm not the a quitter, when the going gets tough, the tough keep going.”

If it wasn't so serious it would be laughable.”

“My son had brain surgery for a burst aneurysm when he was sixteen. And now suffers seizures regularly.
There have been a number of times when I found him walking around or I'll just find him standing around somewhere in the house staring blankly. He can, on occasion, even hold a conversation with you that he does not recall at all.
He has never left the house during his wanderings, but I do live knowing that it's a possibility.
If he did, I'd fear more for his safety than anyone who might run across him.
For him to be hurt or if he hurt someone during an "episode", would be difficult to bear..”

White House Security?

Commented Nov 29, 2009 at 01:30:14 in Politics

“mugshots....know there's some oh so cute and adorable pics I'd like to see posted to their Facebook!!.
We all have a basic desire to feel secure and in control with what goes on in our homes.
Their self importance and disregard for the President, to me, seemed to fit into the "birther" claim that "that guy" isn't the President and I was more offended by them than the lack of security by the Secret Service, although that bears scrutiny also!!
Wish I coulda been in the office for the converse. I work at home so this is all I get .
By the way,I noticed some of your comments over the last few days.....
Fanned for Flavor!!”

White House Security?

Commented Nov 27, 2009 at 22:36:43 in Politics

“Excellent read...I agree that this is appalling and the SS should definitely investigate,
But I also think that a stong message needs to be sent to about this self absorbed couple
that felt they could use the WH and a Presidential Dinner to try and further themselves to "fame and fortune". Book 'em or investigate the heck out of them. These little crusaders need to know there is a serious price to pay. The reality is
This is not a game.”

jackbutler5555 replied on Nov 29, 2009 at 15:06:53

“How would we have found out without the help of the couple?”

Flavor replied on Nov 28, 2009 at 05:07:26

“Hopeington, we were all in the office today talking about what your post states. We have security where I work and it is needed, there are deranged thinking people who will carry out duties to harm others, and so when I heard about these two who just came to the Presidents dinner, like it's cute to do, and then take numerous pictures on top of that, I feel the next photo should be a mugshot for these two. Also security has to be delt with, like immediatley. Thank You for your post!”
