“Sarah has all the characteristics of a pathological liar. I am so glad she continues to spend time in lower 48 so you all can see the mistake we in Alaska made. Just because she draws crowds (so does an accident or good water fountain gossip) doesn't mean she should been elected dogcatcher. I am glad Andrew Sullivan continue to break the news and is brave enough to point out that Queen Sarah has no wardrobe. Babygate is the biggest political hoax of the century. palingates, Bree Palin, Palindeceptions and Immoral Minority blogspots have had hundreds of contributors along with the blog owners researching this political scandal. Now it is apparant Trig is not cared for like any child deserves. His natural mother wouldn't have wanted that kind of life for him. Shame on the Palins for this also. Shame on McCain for his cynical lack of vetting of this strange woman. All of us in Alaska need to give up the missing pieces that show how unethical Mrs. Palin is so the avalance of proof of all her lies will cover her. I am sorry you, Madow and Oberman-mainstream media sites didn't take up this story sooner.”
“I want to know about the missing minutes on the Nixon tapes. But, I also want to know why some thirteen pages were missing from her FOIA requested official Governor's diary during the very days that folks propose that "her" son was really born-premature and later presented to the public weeks later as if he was just born to Sarah in April.
I want to see even one validated doctor's appointment during her alleged fifth pregnancy. I want to know why she dragged a so-called three day old newborn preemie with a self-described heart condition to her Governor's office where there were around fifteen people including reporters. Who behaves that way? I want to know why she says she told no one about being pregnant until the last two months. Huh? Where was her daughter hiding for those missing five months as she was taken out of school? The personal is political when you run for office and question other candidates about how they conduct their personal lives, set yourself up as a family values candidate, and willingly drag your extended family onto the political scene.”
“My kids followed the Primaries, Election and were allowed to 'vote.' They watched Inauguration and attended school only after watching it. This speech is the best Civics Lesson and patriotic action a student could do.
They snicker now when our former Governor Sarah Palin is ever mentioned on tv. They know who has the best interests of the nation at heart. My kids listen to the good intentions of our President and see the good works by Michelle Obama. Your daughters are exemplary role models.
The spine of the current WHITE HOUSE should stiffen with the knowledge that there are a majority of Americans who voted for change. If anyone needed health care attention-it is the Republican Party and I suggest they make sure they can pay for Mental Illness coverage.
Mr. Obama, I do not have to pre-screen what you want to say to my children. You have always been a wise gentleman beyond your years, fair and forever a patriot of our country. We have wanted to write you to invite you to the diverse state of Alaska. Now it is a warmer and more intelligent environment with Mrs. Palin's resignation. God Bless your staff, Michelle and yourself. You had hope and change for us, we have faith and belief in you and our democratic government. Thank you.
Don't let the NO and DOnothin' B-ds get you down. From Ruby, Alaska, waiting for OUR President to visit Alaska for the first time EVER.”

“People who see this for what it really is should remember these communities and refuse to spend their hard earned dollars in them. Racists have represented and been responsible for the worst evils in this country's history, and nothing has changed. Quoting Churchill doesn't make this principle any less a tool of racism!”

“Your comments go directly to the heart of the matter. That is, that our children matter, even to the President of the Unites States! I just saw on CNN, a Black Principle in Clairmont, N.C. capitulate to the racist elements of his state and county in particular, where McCain/Palin won 67% of the vote. The very huge sign at the schools roadside entrance was broadcasting a quote from Winston Churchill as if to say "the British are coming" to the rescue. Now, isn't it strange that our President is not allowed to make an address to this school, but Winston Churchill is! Seems quite obvious to me that if the President was as white as Churchill the objections would go away. Why are those parents of children who wish for their children to be allowed to view the president's speech not being as vocal. They pay the same taxes and should remind educators that many, many schools were shown live and in color participating in mock elections and even having children give political speeches during the 2008 election. Their excuses are such shams that it reeks of out right lies to put forth the political agenda of right wing extremists, which is to distract enough to prevent President Obama from being successful at making America whole.”
“I haven't read the speech yet which President Obama will deliver tomorrow. I will have my two Alaskan children out of school for the first hour or more. I will also have our five year old grandson at home. At 8 am Alaska time the President will be speaking to the American schoolchildren across the country. Our village school opens at 8:30. This speech was written with young impressionable minds and hearts in mind on the topic of Education. Kids exactly like mine who entire future hangs on what they can get out of their K-12 public education.
Instead it is a Lesson in Civics, Faith in Leadership, Tolerance and mass hysteria on the part of most of the Republican Party, its mouthpieces, some mass media journatists and mindless right-wing citizen drones. Their bad over-reaction is shown throughout the world as The Ugly American Snydrome. I pity their ignorance and baseless fear. I fear their unbridled bigotry.
I will sit in my Alaskan home with these three impressionable children and we will savor every word what this impressive leader has prepared for us. We will respectfully listen. Later we will do some activities on the link given to us by our principal via the Dept. of Ed. We will listen to tv pundits and then off to school my two kids will go. They will be the better for it. A copy will be preserved in our bookcase as education is not limited to the schools.”

“GREAT post. Fanned and faved. I wish that more parents could read your commentary, because that is really what it is all about after all.
The idea that this good and decent man should not be allowed to speak to our children about the importance of responsibility and education, is utterly ludicrous and stems from only 2 things; ignorance and racism.
It is no less than completely appalling to me, and makes me ashamed to be a white American.
“Buy American, Wear Fashion that respects your age and it is HOW she raised her two great kids and the grand kids that counts- not the outer package.....this White House Family has it all. Love 'em all and just wish we could have gotta to know Mr. Obama's mother, maternal grandparents and father. The bright colors on Michelle and girls are refreshing and if wearing happy-relaxed big leg jeans gives the President a break from his suits-I say, Go Ahead, Prez, you deserve it.”
