But no, like so many politicians, they were beholden to large corporations that want to rape our economy for today, and to Heck with tomorrow.

Unless our leadership changes radically, the decline of the American experiment will continue... Maybe that's why the Book of Revelations makes no mention of a Eagle in its allegories....”

It never ceases to amaze me how people like Bishop Tobin use their religious positions to exert secular leverage, in contrast to a TRUE religious person, Billy Graham, who counseled all sinners, including a crooked President (Nixon) without passing judgment. He knew what Tobin has forgotten: That Jesus was willing to accept anybody, anytime, who was willing to change his ways, even the robber being crucified on his right, who asked his forgiveness and was promised "On this day, you shall be with me in Paradise". It's hypocritical Pharisees like Tobin that drove me away from the Catholic Church.”
