“Haha, with the hundreds of millions of dollars they'll have in the budget I highly doubt that CGI couldn't fix the eye color.
And yes, I do. Measuring Dalton based on his Bond is silly. The man has done lots since then. And his Bond isn't even bad. I'm a fan. But to each their own.”

“Let's see: spend $33 for a box of Acuvue 2 blue-tinted contacts, or spend who knows how many thousands of dollars to go into every single frame of footage and manually correct her eye color the same way they made Vivien Leigh's blue eyes green for GONE WITH THE WIND because contacts of any kind hadn't been invented yet...methinks they'll pick the contacts over the time-consuming post-production CGI, even though they could've just as easily hired yet another blue-eyed actress for the part and skipped the entire mishegoss altogether.”

Batman - Karl Urban or Anson Mount
Wonder Woman - Gina Carano
Lex Luthor - Damian Lewis or Timothy Olyphant
Alfred - Timothy Dalton
You have to have Lex and Bruce around the same age. They are both rivals in the corporate world and have loose connections with one another. The Karl Urban/Damian Lewis Anson Mount/Timothy Olyphant thing would be great for this. Also the age thing is important when dealing with Superman. Here's this young, alien usurping Lex's role in the world. Lex sees himself as the savior of the human race, and in a lot of aspects is a super man himself. He's threatened by Clark and ultimately becomes willing to destroy the world to get rid of him. Add in Gina Carano, who in real life is dating Henry Cavill (Superman) and there's some great tension.
Instead, we get Jesse Eisenberg playing Jesse Eisenberg, Boston Batman, and an anorexic Wonder Woman. Great job, DC/WB.”

“You want the second-worst James Bond as Alfred?
And why does everybody kinda sorta forget that Gina has brown eyes and we don't know if she can wear contacts?”

“This is perfect casting! I would actually go see this movie.Too bad they got it so wrong.”
Pressed Words on Jan 31, 2014 at 15:26:15
“Your casting is just awful.”

“They're going to fail to catch up to Marvel yet again.”

“Makeup and special effects> natural age.
You have valid points but they can make him look 200 years old if they wanted to.”
Joseph Roman on Jan 31, 2014 at 14:20:51
“Nice set up you lay out.
Too bad they are going to tank this one and kill the franchise. Jesse Eisenberg can not play Lex Luthor, he's just too young.”
Tony Byatt on Jan 31, 2014 at 14:18:58
“That's a pretty spot on cast you have there...”

“I would have to agree with your choice of casting, especially Karl Urban and Gina Carano. It's almost like they want this movie to fail.”
“Says the guy without an avatar. The government is the standing enemy of the people. It's why the war is now at home and why they can peruse through our things at will. Haven't you been paying attention? Or are you paid to look the other way? Which one is it?”
CraiginPhoenix on Jul 25, 2013 at 13:16:28
“Again, you need mental help. You are delusional. "The Government is the standing enemy of the people"? Reread your message. Maybe you will see it, maybe you wont.”
“An article that was written by who and includes what?/ What specific information has he shared with the Rupert Murdoch owned paper? And where is the evidence that it was him at all.
He allegedly did a lot of things. The important part is being able to prove it.
Meanwhile, you ignore the fact that the government has been snooping on all of us without warrants and lying about it. Both of which are against the Constitution. But who cares about that, right? Let's find the traitor and whatever McCarthy style insults we can come up with.”

“Patriot Act was passed in 2002. Did you protest it then, or has your conversion to civil liberties activism only been since 2008?”
“No he has been showing documents to Anna Lam South China Morning Post !! It's all in an article in Business Insider this afternoon !! They won't let me post the link again but it is in my comment history !!”
“It's owned by Rupert Murdoch. Freedom of the press, chief.”

“I said its a ProPRC paper and that is a fact. But as we both know of that is really irrelevant. What is relevant is that revealing intelligence docs on how we get data from the Chinese has zip to do with American civil liberties. Espionage 101.”
“"Bush did _____" is not only an absurd excuse for the actions of Obama, but also an offensive one. Obama had every right and obligation to hold Bush and his administration for the atrocities they conceived and carried out in office. But he didn't. Why? Because he planned on continuing every troubled and alarming tenet of the Bush era.
Quit excusing the actions of Obama just because of the letter at the end of his name. Obama was supposed to be a progressive, and yet he turned out to be the neocon Bush wished he was.
Wake up and see it and quit the infighting. You can attack Rand Paul all day but you're the hypocrite here. Your ability to think critically and objectively starts and stops at your party line.”
“Yes Rand would have. Just like his dad did before him during the era of Bush. Nice straw man though.
Keep attacking the messenger to get away from having to address the message. Wrong is wrong, regardless of the letter at the end of the name. Partisan pandering and the eternal blame shift gets us nowhere.”
“Without the left/right argument, what do you have? I, like ABADDON59, criticize any side that does something wrong. It's a shame you let party lines and politicking stop your critical and/or objective thinking.”
