“But apparently discrimination against gays is ok? Because Dungy has been active in his support of groups seeking to prevent gays from having equal rights to marry. When asked about it, Dungy has claimed: "I'm on the Lord's side". So who's side are people on, if they support equal rights for gays, the side of the Devil perhaps? Given the history of treating people different based on race, it is unfortunate that Dungy has chosen to treat people different if they are gay.”

If you continue to do this I hope you have the journalistic integrity

Braylon Edwards Drop: Pass Bounces Off Face Mask (VIDEO)

“This was indeed catchable. But if you ask ANYone who played the game they will tell you one of the most difficult catches to make is the one where the ball is coming directly over the top of your head: as this one is. Furthermore in this same game Mr Edwards made a catch in heavy traffic at the 10 yard line and bulled his way through three defenders to score and give the Jets a lead that they did not relinquish.
Mr. Edwards is becoming branded with the 'bad receiver' label when nothing could be further from the truth. His first game with the Jets after a trade during a short week he made some amazing catches and was solely responsible for the Jets remaining in the game verses the Dolphins. Did he have some drops with the Browns/ Indeed he did. But drops are a function of how often one is thrown to and also the quality of the offense which relies heavily on the skill of the quarterback. I think we can all agree Cleveland has neither a quality offense, QB or for that matter a quality franchise.
One more thing? Why are WRs saddled with their dropped pass, yet QB rarely have to be reminded of their numerous over/under throws??...JAY CUTLER for instance!!!”

“It's sad that so many use this hard working/accomplished young mans actions here to rationalize their own small, limited and ignorant world view and also to perpetuate stereotypes.
Anyone who has watched college football and most certainly if you've watched FSU you know that their offensive line coach, Rick Trickett, teaches/stresses this technique which has become known as the 'Freeze Play'. The purpose of the freeze is to help draw attention to a defensive line violation. Typically all five offensive lineman remain in their stances throughout the play. This has occurred several times this season; effectively, might I add. In this case there was obviously miscommunication between the offensive line(the center) and the QB. or Mr. Sanders saw something and assumed the center and QB saw it as well and they obviously didn't.”

“I feel Lambert was attempting to shock in an effort to deflect from a performance that was abysmal. Frankly, I am more offended by his lack of respect for the art than anything he did with his or anyone else's crotch. Before we get into Madonna v Adam Lambert. Lets remember Janet Jackson(who has never been regarded as a wild iconoclast as rock/hiphop/r&b stars go) has been crucified for what was essentially a costume mistake at the Super Bowl years ago.
One point no one seems to recognize is that Madonna(love her or hate her music) and other performers who have gotten passes from the networks in the past, generally have banked credibility because of their ability to move the ratings needle and ring cash registers. They are tried and true STARS and they get the benefit of the doubt because of their established bonafides.
Adam Lambert does not come close to this status. Thus far All he has done is win a talent competition.”

Also, you obviously didn't catch his performances on Am. Idol or you would known the kid has more vocal range then most RnR vocalist since Ian Gillian of Deep Purple fame. His performances were over the top and most felt he set a new level of competition by being on the show. Just when Am. Idol seemed to be getting lame... along comes Adam Lambert.
So you wrote out this criticism of an artist that you know nothing about, bashing his future. You're most likely not of the age group that would support his music anyway, so you buying a cd of his wouldn't have happened anyway.
The antics he used in his AMA performance are approved by the teens who would buy his cd and support his concerts. So in 10 yrs when you've been taken in by his vocal range and control, maybe you can look back and feel ashamed you bashed an artist like Adam, you knew nothing about.”

Right, I highly doubt that 15 year old Melvina was "in love" with her master Charles Marion Shields. It's also interesting to me how people can be *shocked* that the First Lady could have white relatives. It just shows how little people know about African American history and the fact that the rape of black women on slave plantations was a common occurrence. It is certainly an "inconvenient truth".”

“'Pop' music is not a genre of Music. It is a designation that denotes the popularity of an artist, based on sales and their ability to attract a diverse audience. Beyonce is a Soul Singer.
I am continually amazed at the lack of knowledge some people have when it comes to the history of American Music. Beyonce Knowles comes out of a LONG tradition of African Music that traces its roots back to the Slave ships, plantations, The Southern Black Church, Jazz and Juke Joints, Freedom Songs. Blues, Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues and Soul. They are all connected. I'll never forget my wifes and my freshman year at Yale we had a cadre of friends that actually thought Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, hell EVEN KISS(lol) and the like actually invented Rock and Roll. They had never heard of Bo Didley, Chuck Berry, Big Mama Thornton and Howlin Wolf.”
