“Afghan soldiers trained by the US are shooting US soldiers while they eat in a mess hall (ref video of Ben Stein right here on HuffPo with Arianna and Jesse V on Larry King) The way it works in that part of the world is that you do the bidding of whomever extorts you (under threat of death), or pays you the most baksheesh. How long does the American public put up with the lies that are being sold by the military "leaders" to the politicians, who sell the lies to us?

I started subscribing to RS after reading Matt Taibbi's July article, The Bubble Machine, on the history of Goldman Sach's manipulation of the US financial system done with the blessings and collusion of enabling politicians. Highly recommend this current article.

Bottom line - the president may have campaigned like he was the savior to the little guy and the middle class, but he's only been a savior to Goldman Sachs and whomever paid him the most --- and that's the facts jack”

“The title of the Rolling Stone editor's (who endorse him AND put him on the cover 3 times) notes is "Doubting Obama" --
The reason is that Matt Taibbi has again enlightened us on this situation in Rolling Stone Dec 10 issue, "Obama's Wall Street Sellout" where he provides the names, time line and facts on compensation and the revolving door relationships of those Obama brought in right after his election, pushing the progressives to the side lines. He also enlightens us as to how Geithner has written or re-written every piece of so-called financial reform legislation from Barney Frank's committee ".. a masterpiece of chicanery, the bill would have given the WH unlimited authority over future bailouts"... and how Geithner wanted legislation for bailouts for his GS/finance industry friends that Congress didn't even have to approve.
So much for change you can believe in.”

“The big internet blogs need to blow this wide open - Samaritan's Purse, Franklin Graham (Billy's son) provided their plane to ferry Sarah Palin around NC, saying that it was "the only way to facilitate her meeting with Mr. Graham..... ". Combine this with the statements of Franklin (who takes in a large portion of his over $1Million per year "compensation" from said organization) says the IRS needs to look at the real nature of that "religious" business.

“Doormat: A person who is physically weak and ineffectual
A person who thoughtfully considers their course of action rather than going off half-cocked in a fit of temper is not a doormat. Everything I've ready about this woman has said that she is the "power behind the throne" so to speak. She is the one who convinced him to run for office, and I bet right along she has been the one who did his thinking for him. Perhaps it's time for her to come out from behind him and be the power in front of the throne.”
