“This is part of executive experience Palin brings to the plate but expect her and her handlers NOT to discuss it unless forced to. The repub VP does have experience in vindictiveness, but there is no doubt she will try to dress up this pig to appear unpig-like. Fat chance but I didn't intend a pun.”
“So Palin is just like Bush, in terms of only Bushies need apply and now only Palinites in allegiance and IDEOLOGY need apply in her administration. Sounds like more of the same, doesn't it? Once gain, the TRUTH is what will sink Palin.”

“That's the biggest load I've heard yet, and it's why we will lose. The truth is...they don't CARE about the truth. They only care about their reality as they see it. Truth encroaches? Bury your head. Home school the kids. Don't confuse us with the facts.
We cannot win with the truth. No one cares about the truth.”
“Her political record and her stand on issues is what will sink Plain's boat. All this nonsense about her lack of experience serves the repubs, NOT the dems. Let us be honest, Obama's resume is also razor thin. Stick to the TRUTH about Palin and nothing but the TRUTH. She either argues against herself, defends herself, blames others, labels the TRUTH as sexism or negative attacks, or says that everybody does it, the latter is what the McSame ticket has started doing. Just how the bridge to nowhere help her constituents? Ask yourselves, what country does McSame and Palin want America to "change" into? We know this change will NOT be voluntary, because they are out of step with American values. Imagine same old Bush mode and the number of federal judges it will appoint? Now the supremes are 5 to 4 on most issues, how about a voting majority against the common man and woman and our rights as citizens and for corporate america and for an ever more intrusive and all-powerful executive branch? It is time to spotlight the McSame and Palin agenda as spoken by McSame and Palin themselves. Think back to McSame's handler's stance that issues will not be what the McSame campaign is all about. McSame doesn not want to talk about issues but composite view of what voters will come away with based on the campaign's propaganda.”
“Those in the repub party that believe in more of the same are really galvanized with the selection of Palin. McSame and Palin are true conseratives when it comes to social issues---more of the same. McSame and Palin have provided no other alternative than to continue with the disastrous Bush economic policies, if one can call "Do Nothing" a plan of "action" to deal with our financial woes, so more of the same. Very interesting will be the debates where McSame and Palin try to label "change" what they have to offer. Hear them squirm, scream, yell, and complain about being the victims "negative attacks" and sexism when their political records and social views are questioned, which they have already tried to do. Should be an easy task for dems, if the dems don't screw it up. Remember, hit them with the TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH. Let them try to disagree and argue against what they are on record as saying and voting for. Anything and everything is on the table when it comes to how they used their power while in office. This is a statement of facts and therefore necessary to discuss, so encourage them to talk about how the TRUTH doesn't matter (obvious bad, bad move) or what is on record is NOT the TRUTH, which of course would be stupid beyond belief.”
“McSame is for change, personal change that is. Contrast the McCain of 2000 with the McSame for prez in 2008. What McSame said of Romney now applies to McSame himself. We should all remind McSame of just how much he has CHANGED, and remind him we must all do at every McSame photo op and media event.”
“Surprise, surprise! You cannot talk about Palin's political views, values, and her record unless you follow the republican script, which is that she is a saint who has blessed us with her presence here on Earth! This will not work. Expect the republicans to label as "negative campaigning" any and all mentions of the truth about Palin's views and political record. It will not work. Every time they try to bring up such label, we have to respond with the TRUTH. As a matter of fact, it will become a running joke against republicans and Palin: they don't want to hear the truth, they cannot handle the truth, they rather not talk about the truth, they fear the truth, they want to DEMONIZE the TRUTH. Next time Palin and the republicans start spewing the "negative attack" defense, just ask them; "But isn't TRUE?" and keep asking them. They either admit it is true, or if they deny it, let the TRUTH bury them alive. The American public needs to hear the facts!
In other news, engage Palin and McSame with chat about what they plan to do about the economy and Iraq, and keep engaging them right up to and including election day. They either toe the Bush mantra---more of the same---or try to sound different. This is where the TRUTH comes into play, for you can remind them about their stances and political record regarding these issues, which is more of the same.”
“Easy. There is no saving, it needs to be replaced by another party. The Repubs' views on economy, values, foreign policy no longer hold, no longer square with reality. However, the Greens and Libertarians are too radical, and Dems cannot possibly be the answer for fear of a one-party dictatorship. I ponder, I wonder, what the answer will be.”
“It is all very simple. Plaster all over the media Palin's record and her political views---the good, the bad, and the ugly. See how far that ship travels before it sinks---she is a proverbial albatross around McSame's neck.”
“Just heard in Fox News an interview with some major of the Corps of Engineers blabbing that 2011 is really record time for all repairs to be in place, which makes no sense at all. The major needs to be removed from his post. Even if we accept this miracle deadline, it only works if there aint no more hurricanes, you dunce major, you!”
“Palin sounds like a female Bush---ready and willing to take orders if and when she is put "in charge". Bush has Cheney, who will Palin answer to if she is part of the winning ticket and somehow later becomes prez? Will Cheney stick around for his second act?????”
“This question will no doubt be asked at the VP debates. Damned if she answers, damned if she doesn't, damned if she sidesteps the issue or ignores it by answering a different question from the one actually asked. She already is on record, so it will be entertaining watching her either agree or disagree with herself. Call her out if she tries spinning her answers, for if she spins, she winds up losing control and will crash and crash hard.”
“Let real journalists (no pundits/commentators/political hacks, please!) inform the public about her record, both good and bad, and her positions on issues. Biden should state facts and only facts about Palin, and let the chips fall where they fall.”
“Palin will have no problem in convincing many that she is ready to step into the role of the president. Figure heads are a plenty throughout history and Bush is one American example. Bush convinced a lot of people in 2000 and again in 2004 that he was ready for the job. Bush is the puppet and figure head, and Cheney is the puppet master and the power behind the throne.”

“She is ideally suited to run the government for the oil companies and defense contracters who control it. Her primary lack of qualification seems no clear obligation to banks or Wall Street.... but Phil Gramm is available to tutor her in the unethical oversight of the financial industry under the deregulation he designed.”

“I still think Cheney and Rove are pulling all the strings behind the scenes. The difference is now they are also pulling McCain's strings. All along McCain has been courting Lieberman and I always had the impression he might select him for VP. Then out of the nowhere we see Rove telling McCain that no way will Lieberman be considered for VP. (HuffPo had a link to that story). Then all of a sudden, surprise, surprise, McCain announces his VP choice as Palin who he only met once in his entire lifetime. So I woud surmise that McCain really wanted Lieberman but Rove and his cronies overrode his decision and forced Palin on him. Something is fishy here.”
“Palin does present problems---the lack of experience charge can be seen by some as cutting both ways, and any attack against Palin runs the risk of being labeled sexist. Can't wait for the VP debates, wish they were held right now!
Biden must be very careful when debating Palin. Some in the media have suggested a strategy for Biden: have Palin try to defend McSame, and leave it to others to do the real dirty work.
I don't agree that just because a politician is a woman one must treat her with kid gloves, but I guess some people don't want to take any chances. But her record and her political values are fair game and must remain fair game in the minds of the general public. It is the dems' job to broadcast this message twenty four hours a day every day until election day.”
“Obermann is a commentator, NOT a journalist. Only those already in agreement with him appear on his show. Obermann is on record as not wanting nor, if offered, accepting Russert's job for Obermann knew he was not worthy. Had Obermann been a journalist, then of course he would at least consider Russert's job. Keith is good at tearing the stuffing out of the repubs/those he strongly dislikes, and he is very, very, VERY good at it. Kudos to Keith for he is getting paid for what he loves doing.”
“I have to agree with you. The Clintons, against all expectations, actually threw everything---including the kitchen sink ;-)---in support for Obama. Obama needs the Clintons now, the Clintons will definitely need Obama later. All backs will be scratched, so we have a very happy dem family at last.”

“I find this kind of political naivete frustrating. The Clinton speaches were so skillfully nuanced that they didn't even enter the kitchen let alone get near the sink. " you can fool some of the people all of the time ".”
