“Correction: The legal importation of Africans was prohibited in 1806 or something like that. NOT the Enslavement trade. However, there was still Africans being brought in it was just "illegal" to do so. The prohibition on importing Africans only hasten and increased the domestic enslavement trade. Surely you know the enslavement trade did not end until 1865. Than in its aftermath another form of enslavement sprung up Jim Crow, sharecropping, etc.

It was white people breeding slaves by raping African Women. These women did not want sex with white men and certainly a slaver. To stop themselves from raping Black women they came up with miscegenation laws. The Supreme Court in Loving overturned this law, because A person has the right to marry whomever. There are now anti rape laws that apply although applied unfairly. A white man can still get away with raping a black woman while a black man can not get away with raping a white women. An interracial couple in Lousiana was recently denied a marriage licence because the JP was concerned for the chiildren to be born. Get out of here already. Totally dumb.”
