This affects me and millions of others in regards to our care and our premiums.
Fat, like smoking, affects everyone.

Yep, I've heard that argument before. But I work full-time at an interesting job that provides my health benefits, so I'm doing my part. I work at a computer, so I'm not overly active during the day. But I do walk around the block every day at lunch time, act in 3 to 6 community theatre shows each year, and do a few dozen very physical improv comedy shows a year. I also contribute to charity, run a non-profit website, and record free public domain audio books which anyone in the world can download.
Food is my only vice, really. Everybody needs one, right. I don't smoke, drink, or break very many other commandments. And I'm a humanist, so I could be breaking 'em all without consequences. I'm really just a nice guy who happens to be fat. I'm not affecting your life negatively any more than a gay couple's marriage threatens anyone else's hetero marriage. My wife's fairly happy too, and you know what. . . yep, she's fat too.
I'm not asking for special consideration. All I want is for people to not judge me by my actions and words, not by my belly. As women say, "Hey, my eyes are up here!"”
