“First of all, it's a tent. Second of all, there's a flap. You can't really see it, because its blurry, but it's there. But Anthroplogie is really good at ripping off artist's work, so it's kind of funny that they're trying to do the Neiman's thing by offering crazy, overpriced merchandise...”

“I've made paper like that before, it's a great activity for kids and it is more fun than just recycling paper through a recycling plant. It makes really thick sturdy paper that's great for cards and journals and you can even sprinkle wild flower seeds in the mix to make it that super trendy seed paper.”
“I sincerely regret not taking more pictures during my daughter's birth and I am just sad I didn't have any of my son's birth. At least with my daughter we had someone to take some pics! Lol! With my son he came so fast that it was just me and my husband in the kitchen with the midwife on speaker phone!
“Thank you for posting such a supportive comment, it's really nice to see that even wise doctors see the benefits of birthing at home and that parents who choose this are weighing risks just like every other parent does. Thank you for taking such good care of Ruth so she could go home to her new little family and take care of her baby. :)”
“I chose a home birth because the hospital I would be birthing in has arrogant and calloused staff members. I witnessed a nurse abandon a patient in a wheelchair in a bathroom. I helped that woman get out of the bathroom, I was just there with another patient. I chose a home birth because I have severe anxiety and the hospital makes it worse. I chose a home birth because I have a healthy body and low risk pregnancies. I chose a home birth because my midwife is skilled and caring and wise. I chose a home birth because my home does not contain MRSA.
I hope the next time you choose to discuss home birth you do not presume to know the motives behind it.”
“My son's cord was wrapped twice around his neck, it was loose like a necklace. My husband caught him and popped the cord over his head and handed him to me. After crying and exclaiming over he boyhood.
It happens in about 1/3 of births and is not a big deal most of the time.”

“I understand why the rich are spending so much on spaces like this, but I don't think that much has to be spent to establish a space like that. Just some creativity and whatnot. I wouldn't mind having a small gazebo in a garden for a meditation space, as long as it's dry when it's raining and shaded when it's hot I'm happy. I have a former carpenter who would build it for me. :)”

“My brother's been building tea houses for people but a more reasonable cost of $20k. Too much for me but he's staying busy!”

“I lived in a condo with an ex for a while. It was very boring when he moved in, but after several painting projects and a few other more advanced DIY projects it was actually really visually stimulating and inviting.
If your space is boring don't blame the space, get creative.
Also living in condos sucks because everyone is on top of each other, so if that's something you don't like about condo living then this piece really doesn't do anything to change that...”
I was walking several miles a day when I got pregnant with my first and didn't gain too much weight. When you get pregnant and breastfeed hormones do a lot of things to your body, including how and where you store fat. Babies need tons of fat to build their brains and squishy bodies, and that fat has to come from somewhere. My youngest is five months and I'm a bit bigger than I was before I got pregnant with him. I really don't care. I need to make milk for my kids and since he's still under a year old and relying on my milk alone I really don't care about losing weight. I care about having enough energy to take care of myself, my home, and my family. I eat and I walk. I really question what experience you have with childbearing if you think there is one way to look and be healthy after childbirth.”
