“They are such amazing creatures, it is wonderful to watch them, I have been working in flowers and felt them hovering near my ear, very cool. If they seem to like a color that I am wearing (red, purple) they just hover watching, kind of like, "are you for real" And, they talk constantly­...lots of little chatter, they are very amusing, just love hummingbirds.”

“OrangePetal, WWF does offer trips to the rainforest, and many ways to get involved to protect these beautiful gentle giants. If you are member, you receive newsletters to go on geographic photography visits. While is a gallant effort and well worth what you pay, it is, and they would agree, one of the last things that is needed, a more humane way of bringing money to this region is needed, without the foot traffic. Elephants are victims in many regions throughout Asia, India, Africa. Their deaths are usually by the hand of those in the ivory trade, poaching or worse yet those taking more land, especially those that clear land in protected elephant corridor territory. And, many on that land use unconventional methods to electrocute elephants on THAT protected land. Every year 20,000 elephants can illegally be slaughtered just in Africa and Asia to meet demands for ivory or land. And many times governments struggle to stop attacks on these beautiful, historical creatures. More needs to be done and with less invasion, or else price tags are what these people see and go after...it is very sad.”

Obama, is directing people to look at Lincoln as a an example of addressing our own prejudices in any issue, getting beyond them to help all..”
