“Looks like a lot of fun and shouldn't weddings reflect the couple and their beliefs? Those who feel they can't forgo alcohol (or meat, in that case) for *one meal* may be doing everyone a favor by staying home and sending a card (but I hope they come out and opt for the adventure--and celebrating the couple--instead!). The balloons were beautiful, but it's a shame they released them, as they're harmful to animals and the environment.”

“All latex balloons are 100% biodegradable. Everything was environment friendly.”

“I aspire to have everything in my living and working space be something that is either useful and/or beautiful to me. It's been a good barometer, as has reminding myself that otherwise I'm keeping things from someone who could use/enjoy them.”
“My instant queue went from 349 to 208 overnight. No record of what those other films were. Many were available on DVD, because I moved them from the DVD queue to instant as they became available. Netflix seems to have radically changed their mind about what they want to offer and are not communicating that; just one awful surprise after another.”

“That's what Hg ore doesn't understand. Netflix steadily makes changes and not for the better. On top of that they don't warn you when they are going to do it. You just lose information you rely on and then have no access to the slots the unavailable titles take up. Since they cap how many titles you can keep in your que and hide the ones that are unavailable you get screwed.”
“Exactly. And this after they eliminated the saved items in the instant watch queue. They give short notice that large groups of movies will be unavailable, and now they're gone from any list at all--there's no record they were ever there. This is such a breach. If you don't intend to support queues, don't pretend to. But don't facilitate this process of moving films from dvd to instant list and then expiring and disappearing them without option to move them back to dvd queue or at least keep track of what they were. It puts you off the charts on the suckometer.”

“I drink white tea every day (I think it's milder, but I have to be careful not to steep it too long to avoid bitterness)--I make a pot with 4 bags of white, one chamomile, one peppermint. I find throwing in one bag of anything with a stronger flavor really does the trick--helps the medicine go down, so to speak. :)”

“Choices we make about food every day affect animals, people (labor force, world hunger, our own health), and the environment. Eating plant-based foods more often we help with all these.
It's great to see these issues getting more of the attention they deserve. Oprah, Ellen, and most CA voters agree: animals deserve at least minimal protection, it's not acceptable to keep them in conditions where they can't even move around or get comfortable.
No matter your food choices, most people don't want to support cruelty such as is rampant on factory farms.”
