“This is an excellent idea. An individuals right to live in a safe environment, one without the deadly annoying consequences of cigarette smoke, far exceeds the right of someone using an addictive substance.”

“This gay man has never interfered or hurt my straight relationship in any way. Come to think of it, no LGBT person has ever had a negative influence on me or my family. I do not understand the hate. I'm embarrassed for those who gave this man a bad time.”

“I feel the same way, JoeAnomie! I don't understand what they find so threatening. I'm straight, white, born and raised in the South. At no time and under no circumstances has my life been adversely affected by anyone gay, and yes we do have them here in the Bible belt. “No, he saw red flags when it was done on the anniversary of another traumatic event.
He may have killed the mother and brother but he left one alive and that means that any possible hints as to what he might do next (for example off himself and potentially her on the next traumatic anniversary a couple days away) would be valid and useful.
A "red flag" like this can determine a timeline for action, for example.
Why so quick to shoot others down and not actually put thought into something?”
