“I know that trying to use reason on a conspiracy theorist is about as productive as talking to a brick wall, but note how the eventual release of the film did absolutely NOTHING to reveal the presence of additional assassins.”
“And we will never prove Oswald actually did it alone(according to the Warren Commision). But it also makes us wonder, 'Was Oswald a 'patsy'? He was shot dead by Jack Ruby', who got into the garage of the police department, and others were kept out.”

“Exactly, if they can't afford to pay livable wages/benefits for their area then we are better off without their company in our society. Leave the customers to someone else who can attract sufficient business and perform it efficiently enough to be able to pay their employees to live above the poverty line. No single person working full-time should qualify as being at or below the poverty line.
Take two competing businesses in an area where there is low-moderate demand for their products. Some businesses don't do appropriate market research in their area and start a business that will barely survive and cut into the customer traffic of other businesses to the point that they also begin to have trouble. Paying the employees at both businesses worse and worse is not the correct solution. Society is better off if one of the two businesses closes and leaves the other running a healthy business with fairly paid employees. The only way to decrease this is to have some combination of minimum wages/benefit requirements that require businesses to be performing well in a proper location.”

“Is that you obama?”

“Baloney how big is your business? I have a Corpration and it is OBAMA and his policies ruining the business growth climate.here's the deal 35 years of steady growth until OBAMA started with his nonsense. The years he's been micromanaging and adding Socialism to Capitalism has literally taken viable businesses down. Add the added taxes he promised not to make middle class pay was a complete lie. When the Middle class is suffering from taxes and bad policy business suuffers then the circle begins ala OBAMA the NON businessman who thinks he knows.”
“If you've ever had a serious illness you know the bills coming from the insurance companies jumps into the 6 figures fast. Of course nobody can pay it, so the company gets to write it off. And that explains their low profit margins. What a scam.”

“Who do you think is charging the insurance companies?”
“I'm with you. I'm amazed at all the idol worship of a hippie turned yuppie. Steve Jobs turned right into a fascist plutocrat the minute he started making money. Thats exactly whats wrong with this country, corporatists taking advantage of every opportunity afforded them by the sacrifices of previous generations only to turn around and give this country the big middle finger when they become successful.”
“Assuming you have the same foolish definition as Feinstein on what defines an "assault rifle":
Varmint problems(you know, coyotes, snakes, etc)
Hunting, both large and small game(please note the AR looking 22LR's on her list)
plinking(as in target shooting)
Self defense if necessary.
Defense of ones country if called upon.
Feeding your family IF a disaster were to shutdown transit(no transit, no food deliveries to your local grocery store, no food on your table).
And every one of the reasons above was envisioned and supported by the Founding Fathers.
For all of these reasons, we want to keep the guns we have, and retain the right to buy more in the future. I'm sorry that you don't see it our way, and I'm even sorrier that you have placed your hopes in people like Feinstein, who proudly carries her gun,(and pulls it out at a press conference to shwo everyone with her finger UNSAFELY INSIDE the trigger guard) but seeks to deny us the same right.”

“The "Assault Rifle" was designed to shoot. What practical use is up to the end user. An "Assault Rifle" is a military weapon only and cannot be purchased by the general civilian market.”
TheDuke315 on Jan 24, 2013 at 22:30:33
“Target practice...you know, recreational shooting. Coyote hunts, rabbits, and just in case you need to hold off more than 10 assailants. And trust me, it does happen. No one hears about it though, because we all know the agenda being peddled here.
Millions...I said MILLIONS of your "Assault Rifles" are out in the hands of good, God fearing, law-abiding citizens and you only hear about the one crazy. Sorry, but I did you a favor by replying because the short answer to your question is: None of your business.”

“Assault, such as in Bin Laden take down?”
ez-rider on Jan 24, 2013 at 22:26:53
“The weapons described in Feinstein's bill are not "assault rifles" because they do not have select fire or full auto. The police and military have those. There are some that were pre-ban and some that have paid for license and full background check, but not in the general population.
Sec. 53-202a. Assault weapons: Definition.
(a) As used in this section and sections 53-202b to 53-202k, inclusive, “assault weapon” means:
(1) Any selective-fire firearm capable of fully automatic, semiautomatic or burst fire at the option of the user.”
eaglespark on Jan 24, 2013 at 22:25:52
“"What is the practical use of assault rifles?"
Senator Feinstein's proposed bill would not ban or regulate "assault rifles". Those are full-auto/select-fire military weapons, so I guess you could ask... the US Army and the Marines.”
