Al Gore On Climate Change Deniers: It's Crucial To 'Win The Conversation'

Al Gore On Climate Change Deniers: It's Crucial To 'Win The Conversation'

Commented Aug 30, 2011 at 12:31:16 in Green

“According to CERN, it is the sun, not humans, driving the recent affects on our climate.

So you're right about fixing ignorance in this country. Unfortunately you (and Mr. Gore) are on the wrong side of the fence.”

Al Gore On Climate Change Deniers: It's Crucial To 'Win The Conversation'

“as affirmed by CERN scientists on the Telegraph last week, "climate change" (previously known as Global Warming) isn't being driven by humans.

Somehow I seriously doubt any number of facts will thwart the momentum by the left to manipulate gas prices to eliminate cars, and cripple industry to stop misunderstood mechanics of weather.

Celebrities like Gore trying to effect social, political, and economic mechanics from their ignorance are like proverbial monkeys with loaded pistols.”

“You too have to learn to pay attention to read the original report fromm CERN scientists:it reads;Researchers in the CLOUD collaboration have released the first results from their experiment designed to mimic conditions in the Earth’s atmosphere. By firing beams of particles from the lab’s Proton Synchrotron accelerator into a gas-filled chamber, they have discovered that cosmic rays could have a role to play in climate by enhancing the production of potentially cloud-seeding aerosols. –Physics World, 24 August 2011
NOWHERE does that invalidate climate change caused by raising carbon dioxide levels.
It speaks only of a possible cause for more precipitation.
The twist given to it that it would invalidate climate change driven by carbon emissions is purely a non scientific spin from the usual conservative bloggers and newspaper editorialists. There is nothing more to be said of it.
None of these CERN scientists has denied carbon driven climate change.
What caused you to say they did ?
Your own bias !.”

“That was about a FEEDBACK for cooling or warming. Can you people read.”

“CERN did not and has not made any such statements. The paper in question simply indicates that further refinements of methodologies and modeling needs to be done.... this is how science works.
I have to wonder at you deniers who are so eager to grasp onto any statement for scientists that might cast doubt on to AGW but will call the same scientist quacks if the results of experiments supports AGW.”

“Thanks for the info on CERN.

There is an informative article from the UK 'The Telegraph' by James Delingpole.

This discussion should be centered on pollution and the destruction of forests, mountains, streams, rivers, soil, air, and oceans.

I think the main stream public believe in pollution ?

Have a nice day.”

“Mel Gibson? Is that you? Conspiracy Theory was a good movie... but you can stop the role playing now. There's plenty of antisemitism and drinking to be done.”

Steelheadangler on Aug 30, 2011 at 11:49:20

“Credible link?

And FYI the terms climate change and global warming have been used together since at least 1957.

Telegraph... thats funny.”
