“Smartrealist, I also sent my message to Mark and he was gracious enough to reinstate me. He is either a gracious host, or believes in the 1st Amendment, or probably sees me as a mere fly on his media elephant or all of the above. Yet, for him to take time off from his honeymoon to order his subordinates to leave Joe Ortiz alone, shows me he is at least a gentleman. There may still be hope for 'freedom of the press' as it was intended. Oh! Many blessings to you from Jesus Christ!”

“America, you say in your Message To Latino Voters: 'Don't Let Anyone Scare You'. They don't frighten me in the least. But they do have the power to silence you.

I have been outspoken about the Pharisaical Cabal that has infiltrated our government and our religious institutions, to control what we see, read or hear to their benefit. If you speak out against them, they will shut you down.

“Mr. Ortiz, did it ever occur to you that you are "teaching" about Christianity on a site owned and started by a man of Jewish faith?? Since the business is his, if he doesn't like your
theme, he can dump you!”

Rodney King LA Riots Told Through Shocking Videos, 20 Years Later (VIDEOS)

“That day in history has been embedded in my mind, heart and soul forever. I was working as the Director of Media Relations for the Diane E. Watson Campaign for the LA County Board of Supervisors.

Hours before the Rodney King Verdict came down; I was with Senator Watson at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church of Los Angeles headed by the legendary pastor, Dr. Cecil L. "Chip" Murray. Among the many civic and elected officials at the church included Mayor Tom Bradley, U.S. Congresswoman Maxine Waters. I was the only Latino among the entire group. Moments after the verdict was announced an eerie groan could be heard among the group. "Oh Dear God, let there be peace in our city,” was shouted by someone.

Watson suspended her campaign and converted her office into an emergency center and began contacting media she would be available to speak directly to the public not engage in any violence or looting.

Senator Watson asked me to come with her to the center of the firestorm to talk to the leaders there to ask them to urge those involved in the rioting to stop the violence. She appeared on various media, everyone was commenting that she was the most visible African American leader in Los Angeles and nationwide media.

I wonder how much more terrible the LA Riots could have been had it not been for Senator Watson's courage and valiant efforts. It is an honor to call her my friend.”

“I served alongside dog handlers, who were some of my best friends. None that looked as good as you, but still courageous warriors. Chuck Norris, the karate, "Missing in Action" movie guy was also in my unit while I was stationed at MARCH AFB in Riverside, CA.”

The Leader of the Future Comes From the Past

Commented May 26, 2012 at 13:49:56 in Religion

“This article at its best lays the groundwork for the audience to look for a messianic leader to take charge of the entire world, promising a utopia unparalleled in human history. As the Mosaic books prophesied (and the New Testament confirmed), the only person who can fulfill that prophecy is Jesus Christ. However, as history has shown us, no man (or woman) in past history has been able to achieve that role, albeit many have claimed they could but have come up way too short. There will rise soon a person making such claims, working miraculous wonders with smooth and clever words, who will turn out to be a fake just like those who preceded him. I'm waiting for the true Messiah; however most of the world's citizens will not recognize Him, just as they failed to do so the first time He arrived on the scene some two thousand years ago.”

DiogenesOfAlaska on May 27, 2012 at 02:33:36

“there is no promise for utopia in what the Rabbi wrote. He merely expresses the reasonable hope that we might return to reasonableness, when prompted properly.

And part of that is to grow up concerning confusion about expectations towards leadership. The Rabbi made it very clear that the key is understanding and how understanding is passed along across generations. Not miracles. There's still room for debate, and even hot debate. And you could still wonder whether part of what got Jesus killed was his willingness to change the reading of the Torah, because he deemed it necessary to do just that.

The Rabbi doesn't even touch upon the relationship between judaism and christianity, and he may have expressed a point of view in which such distinctions matter as little as they could, given history.”
