Running With the Mind of Meditation

Commented May 8, 2012 at 11:37:46 in Books

“This is a really good article!

Mind-body are one. Pollute the body, and the mind will be impure. Cultivate an impure mind, and you will have impure bodily habits.

The yogis of India practice pranayama or "breath control" capitalizing on the mind-body connection. If you can control the breath (body) you can control the mind automatically.”

Can We 'Imagine' Ourselves Into a New Reality?

Commented May 7, 2012 at 23:13:37 in Healthy Living

“Yes, you CAN imagine yourself into a new reality. It's that simple, truly, but only if were that EASY! The concept of manifesting reality gained popularity in the movie "the secret" -- but that was really on a superficial, kindergarten level, as if you could change your world by entertaining a few nice thoughts once in a while in the conscious mind. The truth is, it's much deeper than that. You have to get your thoughts to your subconscious mind.

The only "course" on manifesting desires that I know of that's any good is The Secret of Deliberate Creation. But bear in mind it takes some work.

Here is a good review of it:

“Thank you for sharing this link - Dr Anthony speaks to the idea of "true Faith". This lies in the Subconscious, and yes, I agree the Secret falls short in that it only speaks to two thirds of the manifestation equation. It is this last 1/3 that can make or break one's success with this process.
I am just wrapping up my next book Faith Wave where I delve deeply into this area and illustrate why the Secret works and why it does not. It will be out in Dec 2012. Best, Peter”
