Brokeback Mountain: The Egalitarian Power of Love

“Good job Danielle!

I do have to agree with bandanajack. The homophobia was not exaggerated at all.

I'm a little confused when you say "Although I have a profound respect for this film, and would not dare to change a single scene or word in it, my favorite line is actually from the story. It reads: "If you can't fix it, you've got to stand it,""

Did you miss that line in the film? It's one of the most important scenes in the movie.”

Revolution at Sundance

“Quote from the article: "And We Were Here tells the story of the Stonewall riots, which ushered in the latest wave of the gay liberation movement"

Yes, it's an important documentary but it has nothing to do with Stonewall. It's about the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco told by the people who lived to tell about it.”

“This was a wonderful event. I only wish the discussion could have gone on longer.

The Autry Center is an amazing place, and I'm looking forward to the rest of this series.

Thank you Tom for placing the shirts in a good home where all of us 'Brokies' can visit.”
