On the 1st throw the Colby player is seen walking directly towards the thrower, closing the distance to less than 5ft - surely trying to disrupt the throw. Colby player should have been warned by the man in charge that hindering a throw-in is illegal and potentially dangerous. Also, the other Colby defender has her arm across the body of the Amherst player preventing her from moving into space (Obstruction). The referee is thus not in control of the situation or with great knowledge of the laws of the game. Also the Amherst player apologizes profusely for hitting the Colby player.
The 2nd throw is clearly an attempt to make a long throw into the box (Amherst on offense) and she throws it lower than expected - bad luck on the Colby player who happened to be in the way (What you don't see is all the Amherst players running towards goal anticipating the Long throw)”
