“Blue, You are out to lunch! Huffpost is always running blogs that are negative to Obama and to Democrats. Difference is, there are not many stupid things he says or does in comparison to the Republicans or to Palin. Further, we never stopped making fun of Beck/oreilly/Fox. We can multitask and do them all at the same time.
When it comes to misdirection, the Republicans could not live without it. Whenever the Republicans are doing something wrong or guilty of something, the first thing they do is accuse the Democrats of being the ones doing it. Like when they were telling the country that the Dems were unpatriotic while the Bush Administration was committing acts of Treason by outing Top-Secret, undercover, CIA Agents. Another example is how the Republicans claim Dems are Godless while they walk down onto the floor of Congress and vote to de-fund, get rid of, or against any Bill that goes to help the Poor, the Handicapped, and the Elderly, directly against the teachings of Jesus Christ. You know, all of those programs that the Democrats put in place, directly in-line with the teachings of Jesus Christ.”

“These Trolls are not that deep! You give them too much credit! These people really do believe the nonsense they spew. They do not know it is a bunch of lies. The people they listen to constantly wave a Flag and lay claim to being Patriots until the listener gets emotional. Then, once they have opened up the persons emotions, they fill their minds full of lies and hatred. This is called being Brain-Washed. The technique is very simple and has been used successfully since the eighteen Hundreds. You can pick up any recent Book on the subject of Mind Control and it spells out the exact methods of Brain-Washing that are being used by the Republican Rhetoric Machine. These people really believe the nonsense that you and I can see right through.
I have been waiting for a real newshow to do a story on it........waiting.”

“O's numbers are not falling due to an increase in Republicans. O is losing Dems and Swing-Voters that expected him to do good things but instead are getting thrown under the Bus. Obama is taking advise from the wrong people. He has surrounded himself with the same people that ran his campaign and is getting advise that is out to lunch. He needs to listen to people that are more connected with the public, not driven by the Washington mind-set. He has squandered a great deal of his credibility by advise that takes us in the wrong direction. I really thought he was smarter!! His administration does not know how to use his popularity and power and has caused him to squander it on nothing. What good are advisors that are so cautious that they cause you to lose your power? He had the country in his hand and let it slip away with nothing to show for it. What a huge dissappointment. If only he would wake-up and lead again.”

“Texan, You are almost hitting the Nail on the Head. I see the MSM trying to link O's falling numbers with his "bad policy" or with "a more conservative country". This is not what is happening. The drop in numbers is an overall dislike for the fact that Democrats can not get anything done. The drop in numbers is a drop in faith that the Dems can change the direction of our country rather than a surge in Republican support. The Bluedogs in the Dem party think their people want them to vote like conservatives....NOT!!!! The Bluedogs are destroying the Democratic party by blocking and watering down the party's initiatives. They are also pushing themselves and other Dems out of office by this behavior. Harry Reid and Nancy Peloci need to get together and change some rules to force everyone to fall in line or we are doomed as a party.”

By Sending More Troops To Afghanistan, Obama Will Enable The GOP's Revival

As for the Left throwing barbs at Condi and Palin, we never called them Prostitutes. Further, the vast majority of things that we said about Condi and Palin were absolutely true. These two women are an affront to all other Women in the country, no, the World.

Two-Thirds Of States Would Offer Public Option: CBO

Commented Nov 22, 2009 at 09:43:59 in Politics

“I simply do not buy into the reasoning of the CBO when it comes to figuring out how many states will opt-out and where the premiums will fall. They are pulling this out of their back sides. There are just too many factors involved in trying to guess where the numbers will go. The premiums will not only be based on the number of people that are enrolled but what percentage of them can afford the plan and what income bracket they fall into. the Premium will not be based on how many get the maximum subsidy (the amount paid by the Government) but rather set by the Government to be competitive with the other plans. By the time a few years of the plan have passed, I am willing to bet the Public Option Plan will be more comprehensive and will draw more people than most of the Private Plans.

I have been getting the feeling that the CBO is more partisan than they let on. Sometimes it seems to me that there is a Republican slant coming out of the CBO.”

BTW Blanche Lincoln gave her speech on the floor today and said that she was not going to give in to all of the outside pressure and threats of people giving donations to possible primary rivals. This was just before she pledged to allow the bill to get to the floor. I don't care what she says, if it were not for the pressure, she would not have allowed the bill to make it to the floor...period. I know for a fact that the pressure worked and we need to apply more pressure to her vote. We also need to smear it in their faces if they do not vote in favor of the Healthcare Bill. Apply pressure and never let up!!! If they want to run under the Democratic Banner, they need to start acting like Democrats. If not, we need to fund a rival for a primary. Make her listen to the left!!!!”
Palin To Appear In The Not

Palin To Appear In The Not "Real Virginia"

Commented Nov 20, 2009 at 08:35:10 in Politics

“It is about time someone pointed out how the Book Tour has been Engineered to make Palin look more popular than she really is. I live in Michigan and saw, first-hand, how the press handled Sarah's miraculus Book Tour. MSNBC is always trying to inflate and Milk a story for maximum effect and therefore left out the real reason there was such a big crowd. She was sceduled to make only "ONE" stop in a heavily Republican district. What this means is that anyone in Mich wanting to see Sarah had to travel to get to the only place in the state where she was scheduled. Add that to the fact that the only stop was in the heaviest Republican district in the state and you could only hope there would be a large crowd. In fact, I was shocked that there was only fifteen hundred people that showed up. I think the real story here is that, even though her appearance was in the biggest Republican stronghold in the state, and it was the "only" appearance in the state, she only drew Fifteen Hundred people from the entire state. I was thinking she was going to have at least several thousand people at the event. I think it shows that her popularity is exaggerated far beyond reality.”

“These BlueDogs do not seem to understand why they got Elected in Republican Districts. For some mistaken reason, they think they got Elected due to the way they acted like Conservatives during their Campaigns. WRONG!!! They got Elected because they are Democrats. The people of their districts were sick of the direction Republicans were taking the Country and wanted to see if the Dems would do a better job of getting something done for the people. Problem is, these BlueDogs are blocking their own party from doing anything good and getting anything done, thereby disappointing the people that put them in office. THEY REALLY DON'T GET IT!!! They are putting themselves and the Democrats out of office. UNBELIEVABLE!!

I have spoken with many Republicans that went into the voting booth and secretly voted for these Democrats in hopes they would get something done. They now feel that they could have voted for the Republican and got the same result. WAKE UP BLUEDOGS!!”

“OMG!! It just dawned on me!! Most of the people blogging here don't know the main reason we do not want to try them in the Military system. I assumed everyong was familiar with the biggest arguement against giving the Terrorists a Military trial.

Just to get everyone up to speed;
If you give these people the ststus of being prisoners of War instead of Murderers, you give them rights that make them soldiers during a time of War. In other words, if they are viewed as prisoners of War, then it is not against the conventions of War to bomb the enemy's buildings. When you are a soldier and you bomb the enemy's buildings...there is nothing wrong with that. We do it all the time in Wars. If, on the other hand, you try them in a civilian court, you take away the arguement that they were at war with us and do not allow them the status of being an enemy Soldier.
When we lable them as Terrorists, and take away the Military trial, we can try them as the Murderers that they are.

I hope I explained this good enough to convey the sticky situation.”

nolookpass replied on Nov 19, 2009 at 11:10:03

“They were not enemy soldiers, they were enemy combatants and in that regard they were not under the protections of any country and thus do not qualify under Geneva conventions. They could easily be tried in a Tribunal and that is the only way to properly convict them. They do not deserve the rights of American Citizens.”

“Whenever I see one of those Republican Cowards, shaking in their Boots, talking about how there will be Terrorists in the United States, I can't help but think about the way they get deferments rather than serve in the Military. I also can't help but think how they carry that cowardess into this "bringing Terrorists to this country" thing. Rudy Juliani is the biggest Coward of them all. They are trying to sell the Country on this false idea that it is risky to try a Terrorist in our tried-and-true, time-tested, legal system and how it is safer to try them in a Military Tribunal system that was established with the new Laws since 2006. Just the opposite is true. It is far riskier to try them in the new Military Tribunal system. To see how true this is, just read some of the statments from Military JAG's that have tried to bring cases before the Tribunal. This crap that it is risky to bring them to the U.S. is nothing more than fear-mongering by the Republicans. The Republicans are afraid of a bunch of Beaten, Tortured, Shakled, losers that got caught by our Military and imprisoned. These men are about as dangerous as a powder-puff. But, the Republicans are scared to death of them. Frightened even. If one of these big, bad, Republicans were to come face-to-face with a bag Lady in an alley, they would probably soil themselves.”

Some jurors probably will be more interested in putting the Bush administration and interrogation methods on trial during the prodeedings which will result in the nullification. If they get off, it won't go well for the Democrats in the next election.”

His decision will have nothing to do with political posturing or how best to feed the Military Machine, like the previous Administration is suspected of doing.
