Anderson Cooper Daytime Talk Show Gets Makeover

Anderson Cooper Daytime Talk Show Gets Makeover

“I wish I could consult with him to save this show. I was hoping for something more along the lines of a modern-day Donahue. Anderson is best when he tackles real subjects, not fluffy stuff. That being said, I do love his silly side. Where I think it started to go wrong was the splitting of topics within the same show. He'd have a really serious one following by the fluffiest, most ridiculous segment. It didn't feel emotionally balanced. It was like, hey, let's talk about this serious thing, but let me cheer you up before you go. I don't think he needs to try to please all the people. He should be himself, stick with that, and do what he does best. Do deeper topics, with an occasional light show once in a while. And don't change that studio. It's amazing! I think we need an authentic show, with real topics, not more scripted daytime dumbed-down entertainment (i.e. Kelly Ripa type stuff). And a co-host? No thanks. I watched that experiment and when I watch Anderson, I want to watch Anderson, not some vapid stars trying to be co-hosts. That's what interviewing is for. If you want to have them on for an interview, then do. It makes me sad that he's letting his show go into the same BS pile of TV daytime crap. I guess I will just enjoy him on 360, and leave it at that. :(”

“well, he IS a photographer and a father, so why wouldn't he? as a photographer myself, i see most things through the lens of a camera. i like to capture moments. this guy obviously loves his kids, and was capturing a beautiful moment of their childhood. i don't think i know anyone who doesn't have photos of themselves as babies or small kids in a bathtub.”

“It's a bit irritating to read an article about a much-loved writer, and see a typo. "smelled like bruned fuel"? Hey, editor person, check your third paragraph. Honor the writer by writing and editing correctly.”

“From the number of typo's I see in e-articles, there ain't ANY editors.”
