“The article is about Coburn. He's one of the "others" you speak of. Why would someone make a comment about themselves and not the subject of the article? What a childish reply.”

“I wrote a nasty email to McCain about this. I got tired of hearing how outraged he was. I've been outraged about the way the republicans conduct themselves for many, many years. The hypocrisy is just more than I can take right now.”

“Don't you laugh at how the wingnuts try to join in on the conversation when they don't know anything about it and have nothing to do with anything anymore? Like Bill Maher said...They're not too bright. They can't focus on too many things at once. By too many, I mean two. The economy and health care are complicated issues. Get them talking about gay rights, that will distract them. Because they do know for sure how many places there are where God allows you to put your pee-pee. Then the grown ups can continue to debate this historic legislation.”

“I bet you had a problem with him showing respect and bowing, now he looks down his nose. So, which is it? Do you just have a problem no matter what he does? Why is that? Do you pay attention to what he says or to complicated issues and try to find solutions? I bet you just look at pictures and don't read at all. How petty and shallow to say something like this when we are in the middle of trying to get historical legislation passed. People die everyday from lack of care and you are talking about Obama's chin.”

“Is it any surprise that any act of decency and honor would be foreign to Liz Cheney? She thinks there has to be a motive. If you can't make money, destroy a person's reputation or defecate on the people...why do it? Stop criticizing our new president and our country, Liz. Your daddy should be in jail and you are worth nothing...NOTHING to this country.”

“I don't think reform would have gotten this far if Obama had not said all along that the public option was not the most essential part. He would prefer single payer, but he knew it had no chance. Look at what we've been through to get this far. He is for a public option, he always has been. But when you're working with fear-mongers and the likes of the insurance companies, you don't want to make any BIG SUDDEN MOVEMENTS. It's the people that have made the public option stay alive, and that is how it should be.

I agree, though, it's crunch time. We need the White House to put the cards in the table and bring the Democrats together on this for the people. As much as Obama wants an inclusive administration and a bipartisan bill, it's the people that matter. Stop trying to play ball with the rabid dog. You throw the ball and the next thing you know, he's latched on to your throat.”
