“Prove that Love exists. It can't be manufactured, it can't be coaxed out of a bottle, you can't touch it, you can't say - THERE, SEE THAT, that's Love.
Yet we feel it, we know it, we know the absence of it, we can give it
Prove to us it exists”

“Indeed, a candle lights a room for many hours, a sparkler but for a few minutes.
Be a candle unto this world. A steady source of light, dependable, dispelling the darkness, illuminating those who draw near, yet seeking no fanfare. Still rivers run deep, the shallow ones chatter endlessly, yet dry up when the rain doesn't fall.
Be a candle unto this world, and when your hour comes, you'll go into a realm of profound peace.”

“Perhaps my favorite poet said it best in regards to death;
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
The Prophet
by Kahlil Gibran”

“Beyond economics, you also have very little understanding of the science of landfills. Landfills are the most efficient way to prevent carbon from reaching the atmosphere. Whether you burn a tree or let it rot, it releases the same amount of carbon. Only burying organic matter 6' deep can prevent its carbon from reaching the atmosphere.
You moronic tree huggers want to recycle paper and compost. You don't even have the intelligence required to think about how paper is recycled. What the Eff do you think happens to the solvent sludge that results from removing ink or dye from paper? Don't even get me started on "corn" fuel.”

“The American Dream of bigger, better, more luxurious started in the 50s and 60s with automobiles. People were still satisfied with 1200 square feet and plywood cabinets in houses, but demanded power windows, seats, sun roofs, auto transmissions, fancy stereos and climate control...then complained because their cars cost more money.
Now they want 4000 square feet, custom cabinets, handmade tiles, central vacs in their houses.
Time for the American Dream to change....to be a warm safe place to live, healthy food on the table.”

“Exactly. How many young couples with $0 net worth buy a house that was good enough for the previous inhabitants, then have to remodel the entire thing? The middle class does have to accept some responsibility for being stupid about alot of things. Important life lesson #1 should be, you can't have it all. We had to have 2 or 3 cars, a boat, a jet ski, a couple TVs, or maybe more if you have kids, everyone has to have a cell phone, satellite TV, designer clothes............”
