In contrast, I never favored Bush. My loyalties to a Constitutional system of government, with check-and-balances and the rule of law, remain the same. Obama, with the help of a great many Democratic leaders, managed to trick me and others for a while. First was his support for the immunity bill for the telecoms that spied upon all of us for the Bush Administration. Then it was his support for the bail-out-a­nd-let's-g­ive-bonuse­s-to-billi­onairs bill. He also had time to reverse his position on not hiring lobbyists for his Administration. And then he continued with the we-have-to­-have-grea­ter-secrec­y-while-we­-continue-­endless-wa­rs-and-tra­nsfer-even­-more-mone­y-to-the-b­illionairs­.

So why did you support Bush for as long as 10 months and more?”

“my point is that if it is illegal then why hasn't anyone or any country or any international body successfully brought charges? nixon was guilty of an impeachable offense and, as scuh, he was impeached. if someone or something succeeds in indicting, prosecuting and convicting bush and/or cheney of an illegal act then i will be standing alongside all of you in calling it what it is.

you can accuse someone of anything you want, but if you cannot prove it or even bring an indictment then you have nothing but an ad hominem attack. which, by the way, is useless.”
