“judgez...I see your point and point well taken..I have been stopped by the police probably 100 times...and most were trying to arrest me for something...but I never did anything for them to arrest me for...plus...I always cooperated...and never resisted..  I was raised to respect the police.  However, if they did something stupid..then I reported them.  In California...they will investigate complaints and let you the outcome....less the punishment if held to be true...  But like I said no matter the reason...people should not resist the police..even if they are a celebrity..  We all know the majority of the time people do dumb things to get themselves into trouble with the law.  Yes, there a few exceptions but for the most part with thousands of police departments and a billion officers..they numbers are low...  Celebrities seem to get themselves into trouble often with the police...mostly over silly stuff...and if they would just cooperate...they would probably leave with a warning...”

“Hammer & nail! Guilty...stop resisting the police...there are other measures such as a complaint form...to defend yourself against wrong doing by the police...you are guilty because you resisted! Stop being defiant...go along with the program...and you would have been on your way...”

“If black people went along with the program, they would still be on the field picking cotton. Until you experience this yourself, you will not understand the cruel effects of this modern-day oppresion.”

“Police Officers have been corrupt in the Country of Mexico for years...since I live in CA...it is fairly close to the ports of entry either through Mexicali or Otay Mesa...either way it is less then a 2 hr. drive...every time I ever visited Mexico...I have been stopped by the police every single time for stupid made up reasons...seriously...I committed no violations. The same thing occurred every time...which was give me money or follow me to the police department. Well, of course I always gave them 20 bucks..and went on my way...sometimes..they would stop me 5 minutes later...and ask for more money. What a joke. I never go there anymore...due to all the murders going on. In fact, doubt I will ever go there again...all my friends and family have not been there in years...due to the violence and corrupt police. Oh well, no big loss...but shame on the policemen who allegedly raped the woman...I hope they see 20 years in jail...each!”

“Kevin Faler - CEO http://Legalize.co, Another heart felt story provided by HuffPost! We are so happy HuffPost has taken the opportunity to memorialize on little Alex's condition and progress by the way of the use of cannabis. We purchased the domain name Autistic.co at a very expensive cost but are willing & hoping to turn the website into another olive branch to the world to get the word out about cannabis. HuffPost has taken a stance against the naysayers and fairly reports the news correctly. We are proud Americans who are free and hope & wish the best for all over the world. Legalize.co is a small but proud company who is climbing the ranks very swiftly...we are not a money maker...we are an educational & informative site for people looking for a bit more about cannabis how to reform our current laws for the people and by the people. We have a first amendment right in the U.S.A. to speak out and help people like little Alex. We extend our olive branch each of you...Kev”

“I am 63 years old and I've never tried marijuana. I've never smoked cigarettes either. YET I still agree with you. Based on everything I have read and heard it is a heck of a lot safer than alcohol. ( Of course, I am in favor of legalizing it for all the other obvious reasons - economic, removing it from the war on drugs etc). I didn't always think like this, as they say, I "evolved" probably partly as a result of the effort of people like yourself. Kudos.”

“Kevin Faler, CEO, http://Legalize.co we have been saying this the entire time. Of course, we do not condone bad behavior but there are many people including minors who need marijuana for different aliments such as cancer. Now then, we can all argue these alcohol vs. marijuana points but the caveat here is called being responsible and accountable for our actions. People always seem to pipe up and spew some numbers on the web which basically account for nothing as the tests are mere litmus tests with random & representative samples which normally have weak variations to begin with. Nothing more than propaganda at its best. At Legalize.co we keep it real...and love coming to HuffPost to get some of the juicy news...lol”

“Kevin Faler, CEO - Founder, http://Legalize.co, I disagree. The, "Chiefs of Police" in CA are not that powerful and mostly un-organized when it comes to a majority vote. Meaning, one chief will go along with the other when the coin is tossed up in the air when it comes time to vote. You have to remember, the chief of any law enforcement agency is a mere officer him/herself and other than rank has no more authority than a regular officer. If you calculate the amount of chiefs in the state of California the numbers are low. So then, the over all vote of the chiefs will not stop the legalization of marijuana. Moreover, each chief will or should be super cautious of how he/she votes. After all, the chiefs of municipalities work for the City Manager of their respective city...and just perhaps the City Manager might just want to approve legalization of marijuana.”

JohnThomas on Dec 31, 2012 at 13:10:12

“It's more the power of their pulpit and the strings they can pull that creates obstacles to reform.

The media is a big part of the problem. When the issue is whether drug policy should be in the province of law enforcement, or not, it is insane to law enforcement's opinion any weight. That's putting the proverbial fox in the henhouse.”

“Kevin Faler CEO-Founder, http://Legalize.co, A very nice article indeed! My personal position has not changed when it comes to enforcement from the state or federal side of the coin. Moreover, like I have always said if you run a legitimate dispensary you do not have to worry so much about being shuttered by the feds. The examples cited were people breaking the law or not going by the rules. Too, I have always said there must be regulation in effort to make this work. If we did not have rules then everyone would run amok.... Moving on, the burdensome thing here is the fact there are so much avenues of the law that must be covered and once this is done and it is reduced to paper....we will then have something to go by but until then we have to keep on guessing... Owners of dispensaries are just going to have to learn to go by the rules they know best until those writings are introduced.

At Legalize.co we are asked many questions as it pertains to laws and I can tell you it is not easy by far...the federal government must research and seek out esquire to make it all unfold. You see my friends the federal government is not against you...they are merely enforcing the laws set forth by the people...the majority.”
