The 1st amendment refers to Congress not making any laws. It does not restrict editing or censorship of content in the public domain.

We have it in all aspects of our lives - Movies are rated and certain ratings are NEVER shown in Movie Theaters. Some States/Cities.Towns ban Porno Movie theaters. We have Parental Controls on computers.

This has nothing to do with 1st Amendment Rights but more to do with sensible editing and control of content.

The 1st Amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

So, it does not abridge the freedom of the press, ergo the press is free to publish or not publish any content it desires.”
