“That's what I think it is honestly. As many years as he has on him, he has to know he can call it what he want but many of his republican "supporters" see him as an African- American man. And I don't think I'm going to far out on a limb to say they might have called him many other names.

Secondly, that is whole I'm not like some stuff. Well, it doesn't exactly endear you to people or get you votes. This guy has got to have some other reason for running. right now...money is looking like a top contender.”

“I think that this Queen latched on to one thing she was told and launced a great campaign that made her director look horrible. I understand why she was decrowned. ALL beauty queens are told to "lay off" something. Healthy eating is a must for ANYONE's life, not just Beauty Queens.

As a director, former, and pageant coach, I have to say I agree with the director. If I had a girl that refused to work with the training team, did not thank our supporters, and was a no show, she would be out of there too! Try that at your job and see if it works out for you.”

Commented Aug 19, 2010 at 09:46:44 in Media

“Wow!!! Does Team Palin even look at her tweets before she puts them out. This has nothing to do with this issue. 100% not related to her at all. She is a fame chaser. Any news story that is hot is jumps on it. Scary, very scary that she believes yelling out the n-word to a listener 11 times in 5 minutes is sane or acceptable. There is must debate about the word, but this is the bottom line....it was rude at the very least. Obviously not the thing to say to a black woman who clearly listens to your show and respects you enough to call in. Great job Sarah on adding nothing valid or meaning to yet another story.”

It is war against an idea. You cant kill ideas. The culture that allows it to be ok to do this kind of harm to anyone, man or woman, lives in the hearts and homes of its people. They are the only ones that will be able to eject this type of monsterous behavior. no outside force would have ever worked.”

“Umm...42 million dollars saved! wow...That is the going cost to unjustly jail a target group these day. not bad.

I am happy to see that this was changed. It is shocking to me to know that these laws were put into place in the 70s and 80s and are just now being overcome. We have a serious problem with drugs. I almost have to agree with the fact that these laws should not be in place. If someone wants to do drugs...they will do them. Jail will not be a solution for drug addiction.”

SmuglySmiling on Jul 28, 2010 at 18:59:18

“Your histrionics, while amusing, miss the point. Require people to get a work permit to have jobs in the state in a similar way to the system of cabaret permits in large cities. DMV already has the ability to issue a photo ID for this purpose. The issue of citizenship is resolved at the time it is issued. A copy is provided to the employer when hired, not carried at all times. Enforcement is not handled by the police, but the department of labor with fines for non-compliance. If the talking point about people coming for jobs is true, preventing the hiring by businesses should reduce the problem. By handling the issue as an employment issue and not an immigration issue it should avoid constitutional problems. What solution would you propose that passes constitutional muster?”

Is College Necessary? Fewer Americans Think So

“I believe that college doesn't retain its value very well. You pay so much for it but as soon as you take it on the job market it decreases in value so you need MORE to just come out even. My education cost more than I'd like to say. Not crazy, but it was NOT cheap.

It is sad though between the gap of real word readiness between a high school diploma and a college degree. Just HS does not prepare you for much these days. Its should but clearly does not. It barely gets you ready for college!”

Chicago48 on Jul 23, 2010 at 13:46:59

“Why pay for college? It took me a long time but I worked for companies with tuition reimbursement, all I paid for was transportation and books. It's possible to get the degree w/o paying tuition; just get with the right employer.”
