As for the book sales, most of the copies were purchased in advance by right-wing organizations for fund-raising purposes. The book is currently on sale for less than $5.00 at some stores - less than two weeks after it was released for sale at $19.95.

No worse than South Park? This is about the House and the Senate - not Comedy Central. South Park insults everyone - they are equal opportunity insulters, and that's why it doesn't offend me. But the House and the Senate is a different forum, and we women deserve respect in society.
You must not have experienced much sexism. I envy you that. Obviously you have not observed our legal system much. It places a high value on prosecuting women - not defending them. Just look at a typical rape case or domestic violence case.
Unfortunately, I have to my knowledge met very few women who were not raped or assaulted as young girls or children, myself included. I hope you're not one of them but I also hope you become aware of how much sexiam is out there in our society and the need to have no tolerance for this mkind of "humour" - particularly in a so-called reputable publication as TIME.”
