“Conservatives (true ones) have good things to add to debates, they care about solving problems. It's the #rwnj's who think taxes and small government are all there is to any discussion. They can't admit their ideology is what has brought this country to it's knees. I wish they would split off.”

“I've always considered myself a liberal. I guess I am not. Does no one THINK before they pontificate any more? There is so much involved and so many consequences to any decision involved in this mess, that I am astounded at the amount of second-guessing from anyone who wants to claim themselves experts. Perhaps one consequence was considered less bad than another. Jeepers. I think I will stay off the blogs for a while as it is just as inane here as what I find on the right side of things. You fix everything while I'm gone, big mouths.”

“The fringe quotes fringe theories. They can't use logic, reason or fact because the TRUTH HAS A LIBERAL BIAS. So they make crap up. For the life of me, I don't understand why they put the well-being of this country, and the whole world, behind their knee-jerk opposition to ANY and EVERY thing. How can an honest person be against everything? It would be impossible.”

“What part of "we are exceptional" don't you understand? :)
The right does whatever it wants and then talks, talks, talks until they think they've convinced someone. The right really only thinks THEY are exceptional. What a mess they've made for our country. It would have all been so unthinkable 8 years ago, huh?”

“You don't watch them too much. I just talked about the lies they said last night. Where Greyson said Fox only has 3 million viewers. That was a lie right there. Then right after that they lied about what questions they asked a republican strategist. 2 lies in less than 5 minutes.”

“As I'm sure you've noticed, the conservatives remember every charge leveled at their governance and spit it back first chance. Whether what they say is true does not concern them. They just want to say it. Bush was the most divisive President from the minute he stole an American election. The truth hurts, I guess. He was quite divisive even before the election results because of all his pandering to culture and religious warriors.”

Fox News Ratings Undamaged By White House War
Commented Oct 22, 2009 at 11:02:19 in Media
“I don't care about their ratings. The 20%ers will always watch FOX. Independents will watch it some times. Curious will go watch it now to see if it sucks as much as people say it does. I care more that people are exposed to the facts of how FOX shades everything to reflect the thinking, or wishful thinking, of conservative nut cases. If they were 'just' a right-leaning org, they would cover war and business more than other stories. But they are actually propaganda-spewing liars. Even were they 'just' a right-leaning org, they would have no business calling themselves "fair and balanced". Other networks have opinion shows too but they don't let those opinions bleed into their straight news coverage.”

“Unfortunately, just enough Americans are not wise in just enough numbers and places to make the Senate more important than it deserves, which means we are left to the blindly ideological leanings of the few to make these decisions. I'm an American living in Ontario for the last 11 years, I'm 51 as is my husband. We have a 14 year old. You KNOW that we've accessed the health care often. I can't say enough about the contrast between the two systems and how Canada is so much out ahead of the backwards, backwoods, stagnant system the U.S. has. Common sense does not go too far with some there.”

“Right, the fact that the FIRST question says, "public health care plan administered by the federal government..." invalidates the answers to the second question.”
