“Summit, schmummit, stop dithering and start acting.

Let's start with more credit for small businesses from the banks.”

“wrong approach, you need to get the banks out of the small business loan process, why not have the fed issue small business loans directly ? the problem is that the banks have no0 real interest in selling or servicing SBA loans because they dont make much money on them the other thing is that many banks are not even educated enough whats out there in small business loans.
you can finance this by levying a import tax on all goods coming in from china, India and other low wage countries”

“I am all for providing payroll loans for small businesses who are having a tough time paying their employees. But even still, those business still have to prove that they are viable. I don't think the problem is so much that banks are not lending to businesses. I think most businesses are having a hard time because no one is buying there products. Consumers have cut way back on spending.”

“I have the solution.

FORCE the banks, whom we, the taxpayers bailed out with our money, to start loosening credit, and at fair rates.

This way small businesses can start getting into the game again.

Make it happen!”

Health care "for the American people" is fought in terms of how cost effective itt is - something to HELP the American people.

But, with war, spare no expense.

Obama, you are a serious disappointment. Also, what about Main Street vs. Wall Street. When will you force the banks to start lending money again and renegotiating mortgages, Mr. President?

I know sometimes it's hard to see it all when there is so much being discussed now, but message boards have been filled with outrage over spending $60billion a year on a vanity quagmire for Obama when we are already severely in debt and depend on the Chinese to fund our daily operations now.

Even congressional reps are voicing concerns, and acknowledging that the American people are against this madness.

“They should have taken care of Main Street at the same time as Wall Street.

What's the matter, can't this administration walk and chew gum at the same time?

The problem is the public has no clout, but Wall Street does - it owns our politicians from both parties.

So many have continued to lose their homes under this administration - there's no excuse with all that TARP money still lying around doing nothing.

Plus, what about bailing out the local banks - you know, the one's who help the people in their communities.

I guess they don't contribute enough money to the politicians' campaigns.

What a disgrace.”
